Rose Hall is named for its centerpiece The Rose Hall Great House, a purportedly haunted eighteenth-century plantation home. For those tempted by Jamaican folklore, The Rose Hall Great House offers an eerie and memorable night tour by candlelight. For those seeking outdoor pleasures, the surrounding area delivers with its astounding Montego Bay Marine Park, as well as rafting on the Martha Brae River, a truly romantic experience.

They focus on the buffets here. The problem is they don't replace and replenish the food often, so alot of the dishes are dried out and tired. Get to the buffet early or it'll be warmed-over. If you order off the menu, you'll wait (25 minutes for lunch) and the chef just doesnt create anything particularly interesting or flavorful, in my opinion. Salads are nice and the fruit /smoothie bar is quite good. The staff is super--- pleasant, polite, helpful. Some of it is the price-point: at $40 for breakfast and $50 per person for lunch, you expect--and they should deliver--a heck of a lot more.
Would not return.

Great service steps away from the Water Park. The beef patties were fantastic!! The service was very good. Our family had lunch here several times during our stay... nothing negative to really say!

Looking for Oxtail? This is where to get it Family style. Served on a plank with other delicious local flavors like Curry Goat, Ribs, Red Snapper grilled to perfection. Music can be a bit loud and obnoxious but if you go early it's not bad. The food is worth it and we ate there multiple nights. Michael the waiter did an amazing job making sure our Mom had everyting she needed especially the extra Oxtail. Thanks Michael!

The restaurant had a great antipasto bar, but the menu needed a bit more variety. More pasta dishes would be nice. Typical steak, seafood, and chicken which is fine, but doesn't sit this restaurant apart from the others. Gluten free options available. Service was great.

The best grouper outside of my wedding I ever had! I was also able to get appetizer size portions of the amazing pastas, that was great! The wait staff and management were so kind every meal. We sat on the sand and was waiting for James Bond to come up and join us. Spectacular!

This restaurant is quaint and romantic. We especially enjoyed sitting outside with the candlelight. We ate there twice and the service was good both nights with Kerrianne and Glenroy. Although the portions were not huge, it really did not matter because you can order as much as you want. Loved the lamb and chateaubriand and the escargots.
The creme brule and mousse were quite tasty too. The house bottled red was nice with the meal and overall both evenings were very pleasant.

It looks very plain but it is exceptional. The worst part is that we did not get there for dinner because of all the other places. They also have a small buffet and a menu. Highly recommend that you go for more than breakfast.

Normally, we choose sushi if we go to a Japanese restaurant, but I've still had a lot of hibachi over the years and I've never had hibachi as good as the hibachi at the Samurai restaurant in the Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Resort.
If you care about the show (especially for kids), that part wasn't as good as at the many chains in the US, but every other time I've been to hibachi (even in St. Lucia), it was basically the same thing. Here, they cooked everything in a sauce I hadn't had anywhere else and it was all delicious - no need for anything to dip the steak, shrimp, or chicken (he had extra chicken, so we got to try that, too) and it was all AMAZING. The sashimi and soup appetizers were also very good. This was by far my favorite restaurant at the resort! They also had the best service of any hibachi dining experience I've ever had.
