My wife and I took our grandson to celebrate his most recent swimming badge.
Our outing got off to an uncomfortable start when we were greeted by an unsmiling, stoic waiter . Further more he and his assistant didn’t smile our entire visit.
Starting and ending with a warm damp cloth is a pleasant experience.
There was a good variety of foods - salad ingredients, soups, sushi rolls, Chinese dishes and desserts on display . Regarding desserts the lemon meringue pie was still frozen.
We go here because our ten year old grandson likes it . Having said that he doesn’t really eat all that much. He likes the cotton candy !!!
Not good value for the money. After paying the waiter , he merely tore off our receipt and handed it to me without a word .
Will try to get our grandson to chose another restaurant in the future.
Disappointing!!

I used to eat here all the time. Wonderful people, good service.
Unfortunately the cook started using dark and cartilage-laden meat in the Butter Chicken, both of which any Indian chef will tell you is not acceptable. I asked for an "all-white meat" Butter Chicken and even offered to pay more for it, but I was told it was "hard to separate out just the white meat" (?).
Since dark meat and cartilage have no place in Butter Chicken, I have not returned since. A shame too, because the sauce was probably the best I've ever tasted. But cheaping-out on the quality of meat is a great way to ruin a perfect dish. I'd rather pay a little more for the proper dish.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch.
We both ordered halibut and chips.
Service was very pleasant and efficient. Our order was taken promptly and our meal arrived in short order.
The fish batter was very light ,crispy and non-greasy!! The fish was perfectly deep fried and tasty!! The fries were plentiful, plump and flavourful. The usual condiments for fish and chips were readily available.
We noticed a number of "regulars" arriving which is always a good sign. They were greeted promptly and in one situation a soft drink was delivered to the customer at the same time.
It was our first visit but won't be our last.

My wife and I go there at least 3 times a month and we absolutely love it.Chris the owner is very friendly and so is the staff the food is awesome steak on a bun,burgers ,poutin onion rings everything thing we had here is very good and fresh.summer is great with lots of entertainment to.

Delish. We went to Pizza Pino based on a trip advisor recommendation and we weren't disappointed. The panzerotto is huge and I could only eat 1/2 but my husband managed to eat through his. Makes great leftovers. Bring your appetite for this lunch.

Dined with family at a favourite spot in Ajax, gradually becoming our least favourite. I feel this is my second home and have enjoyed dining and celebrating here numerous times!! However, consistency has become a problem, it is hit and miss when ordering from the menu. Prices have gone up, fair enough, but quality of the food has changed drastically. Last evening they offered as a special Spaghetti and Meatballs for $15.00. One of the ladies in our group ordered it, only to be disappointed. A bowl of pasta already tossed with sauce so it was dry, meatballs were fair and was accompanied with two hard slivers of garlic toast. She had to ask for hot pepper flakes and cheese as they weren’t offered. When they finally arrived the cheese (not sure what it was) literally came in a thimble size container. This meal was grossly over priced, a salad would have helped justify the cost!! The gentlemen at the next table ordered a meal from the specials offered and wasted no time complaining when it arrived. He ordered jerk chicken, it was a chicken leg with a couple of dollops of jerk seasoning and a spoonful of rice. He was upset as he expected he would get a chicken breast. Again the meal was overpriced for the quality and quantity of food he received. The server listened to the complaint but at NO time did a manager address the man or his concerns. This has become common practice having observed this on numerous occasions. Staff and management are friendly and courteous but when you voice a concern it’s not appreciated! To reiterate it’s hit and miss and that’s sad given it used to be spot on every time. Not my first complaint, but it will be the last.

Location: A very small store front In a plain strip mall.
Service: Occasional
Food: The food quality and workmanship brings this place down from average to poor. The teriyaki beef was very hard and covered with flavourless sauce. The sashimi was roughly and irregularly cut, partly frozen and some cuts were stringy. Sushi was sloppy and flavourless. Tempura was by and large fine. The most enjoyable thing was the 3 complimentary Korean sides before dinner.
Price: There is much more competitive places around so you would have to be attracted to the food and/or service.
Overall: We have been here in the past. I like to support hard working people, but there were too many sushi sins and lack of effort on the hot food side for the price to recommend this place.

Went there this past Saturday. My wife and I are fairly new to the area but live close to the water on the west side of Frenchman's Bay and knew there were some restaurants and stuff on the east side but weren't aware there was a more upscale place until now. Atmosphere was really good and there was plenty of parking. Wasn't too busy and the decor was modern and clean. We both ordered steak and they were cooked to perfection. Came with tasty mashed potatoes and beats. We also ordered a side order of Mac & Cheese which was pretty good. Service was decent. Was a little pricey but very tasty...for the price they should at least be giving out free bread much like the Keg or Canyon Creek does...other than that I highly recommend this place for a nice dinner in Pickering on the bay. We'll be coming back in the summer to check out the patio!

I know I've reviewed this location before but it was another great experience. We arrived at 5pm for dinner and sat on the bar side. It has a really nice atmosphere with the fire place burning and the dimmed lights. The server was amazing, The food was as usual, fantastic. I had the stuffed chicken and it was cooked to perfection. Great Experience!

This is a tiny little spot in an unassuming strip plaza but... the food is good. Not much by way of decor or atmosphere really. Service is good albeit a little cavalier. We all got served at different times. The flavours are quite authentic and the prices are fair.
Way better than Lone Star!
