We had a first episode interview for" table talk ".. A local tv outfit to launch the first ever Breast advocacy campaign for pagadian city .
The staff and owner of the restaurant was accommodating and welcomed us warmly.
Although we did not have any meals here the place provided the much needed quiet relaxed atmosphere we needed.
It's a no frills restaurant with necessary amenities . We missed having the jumping tilapia on our plate !
There was even a golf cart to transport you from the parking area which was a bit muddy but really quiet near to the resto proper .

The place was empty when we were there on a Thursday night. Tried their specialty Grilled "Buntot sa Bariles" and it was great. There was a live band performing. There is a pool table. It is located across Hotel Camila and 2 minutes walk to Gaisano Mall and C3 Mall. Good service by our attendant, Raymond.

Good quality, tasty food. Excellent value for money.
Alas there aren't enough servers, and there is no coordination between the few that they have, resulting in sketchy service and some things not arriving despite frequent reminders.
Will definitely go back there though. The Lechon Kawali is superb.

We stopped by here to take out some food for lunch. Menu selection was quite good, especially if you're really looking for authentic native Filipino food.
We also checked out their chalets, where you could dine in. For 5 pesos, you can buy fish feeds, to summon the fish. Good photo opportunity.

I visited this restaurant once in early April, 2015. This open air restaurant has fresh sea food that you can choose from tubs. The night we were there it had very fresh crab (small hard shell and not worth it for those of us accustomed to Dungeness), squid, large prawns, shrimp and several kinds of fish. The seafood is cooked according to your request. They offer several ways of preparing each dish. We had hot and spicy crab, garlic prawns, sweet and sour fish and grilled squid. Bulalo (beef) soup was said by my friends to be good although I did not taste it myself. The beef soup had large pieces of beef and large vegetables. The prawns and crab did taste good. I was there with ten friends. We shared six crab, ten large prawns, a very large bowl of soup, two fish, one large squid, one plate of vegetable chop suey and one plate of Seafood Bicol Express (mixed vegetables with seafood). The meal was accompanied by San Miguel lite beer for each person. The total tab for a full dinner for ten people, with beer, came to a little over 3,000 pesos (about $85 Canadian at that time). A very reasonable price for dinner for ten by either western or Filipino standards.
The restaurant serves other Filipino dishes as well, such as chicken, but it is known for its seafood. The cleanliness is acceptable although, of course, suffers by western standards. It has some fans blowing as it is outdoor Seating. Nonetheless, I recommend the restaurant for seafood. Open for lunch and dinner and a tricycle (motor bike taxi) should set you back 50 pesos from the Gaisano Mall area in the downtown.

Bob's Diner

Reviewed By VanBCCanuck - Vancouver

This restaurant serves both western style and Filipino food and I visited it a few times in early April, 2015. One of the better restaurants in Pagadian. I had a roast chicken dinner for less than 200 Pesos. The roast chicken was good and not too over cooked as is the practice in the Philippines. The chicken came with rice and mushrooms and gravy. The mushrooms were from a can and I did not try the gravy. They also serve fresh brewed coffee from a press which is unusual for the Philippines, especially in the provinces, where it is almost invariably instant coffee. The coffee was served with real cream, also a rarity in the Philippines where coffee is usually accompanied by powdered coffee whitener. One of my friends had grilled fish. I tasted the white flesh fish and it tasted very good with a mild lemon taste. The fish was overcooked for me, but, as I mentioned earlier, that is common in the Philippines. Substituting garlic rice for plain rice cost an extra ten pesos. Another friend had the baby back ribs which he also said was delicious although I did not taste it myself. Before dinner we shared a “cesar” salad which is, arguably, misnamed. The salad had tomatoes, boiled egg, ham/bacon slivers and wilted lettuce. The dressing was cesar. The ‘Greek’ salad is also different. It has chopped pineapple, watermelon slices, tomato, cucumber, lettuce and chopped olives. No bell peppers and no onion. The cheese was cubed chedder like white cheese and not feta. Nonetheless, the ‘Greek’ salad was good. The restaurant, with a semi-diner décor, was very clean and the staff attentive. The restaurant c.r. (restroom) is better than most in the provinces and was clean although, as is often the case in parts of Asia, one of the toilets in the men’s room was missing the seat. The building is easy to find with silver/chrome trim on the front of the building. It may look closed as the windows are tinted dark but watch for the open sign on the front. DO NOT confuse Bob’s Diner with a small open air restaurant in the same building. Bob’s is inside.
Open for lunch and dinner but closed in the mid-afternoon. Average lunch is 150 to 250 pesos. A tricycle (motor bike taxi) should set you back 20 to 30 pesos from the Gaisano Mall area of downtown. Have no hesitation recommending the restaurant although I would pass on the cesar salad.

One of the cutest cafes in the city. I love clean and organized the place is. I also love the fact that they have different books available to the customers to read, a swing just in the corner which is perfect for bookworms like me, fast wifi, good foods and coffee. It's also quiet so if you're thinking of a place to read a book, do research and stuffs or to chill, this place is good for you.
