We went as a family for early dinner and manage to get a table queueing for 20mins. We ordered their specialty Ajinoya and a 3mix okonomiyaki and a yakisoba. As we had young children, they didn’t cook in front of us for fear of kids touching the hot plate...a waste. Nevertheless food was delicious. Ambience smoky and clothes stick after dinner but it was worth. The best oko n yakisoba we had in Japan so far.

We visited this restaurant due to the very high rating on Trip Advisor, but it left us disappointed.
My husband said the pork katsu was quite tasty but not as good as he had hoped. I had the prawns, which were smothered in far too much batter. The sides were similarly underwhelming.
Although not expensive, it did not feel great value for money given the wealth of options in the area.
They restaurant was offering free drinks or Deserts in exchange for Trip Advisor reviews, which we assume is the source of the suspiciously high rating.

Was expecting a real good Okonomiyaki but was disappointed. Yakisoba was still ok to get pass but definitely would be back there again. Owner was really friendly although he had a rude Taiwanese lady staff that was quite impatient with kids from other table and to some customers.

Our last dinner in Osaka was hot pot,, so we trooped over to Dotonbori for a halal reat that was prebooked in advance. Dotonbori is Osaka's much touted cultural and shopping area, and it was packed with the summer crowd. The restaurant was on the first floor, accessed via a narrow staircase, the door opening up into cubicles of noisy chatter. Our order comprised karage chicken (skewered fried chicken), yakitori (grilled chicken on skewers, like sate) on a bed of vegetables, and miso hot pot of chicken and vegetables. Halal hot pot had to be preordered online since it has to be specially prepared. The restaurant was full but each group enjoyed secluded privacy in a cubicle, sitting with legs in hollowed bottoms beneath the low table, a concession to foreigners not used to sitting on tatami mats. Karage fried chicken came first and the cubes on skewers tasted heavenly! Hot pot had to coe to a boil before we scooped out soup into bowls, the miso broth tasted beter after a long boil, the chicken well cooked in a potpourri of vegetables such as tofu, cabbage and mushrooms Best tasting was the yakitori: succulent grilled chicken cubes on stee skewers that virtually melted in mouth. They came in a large plate of salad and the cubes were separated by leeks. A splendid dinner which ended with yummy salted caramel gelato It was a dance of the moon alright as we were literally over the moon, gastromically. This restaurant had undergone halal certification by the Kobe muslim mosque. Well recommended

The kitchen and the bar are open until 5 in the morning. Foreign and Japanese staff all speak English.

We came in for a quick bite and drink, and we were so happy to find such delicious food and great company! We were served a big bowl of delicious hot hummus with pita and great shisha. The owner, Gingi, then sat with us outside and chatted with us for a good hour or two. We loved this place and would definitely return if we have more time in Osaka! תודה ליניב על החומוס הטעים, נרגילה טובה ושיחה טובה! זה היה נחמד לפגוש אותך

We had dinner there last night and ordered the set course.
The place is beautiful, with a nice garden.
We really had a great time, food was excellent, every dish we had was just perfect. I recommend ordering the New York strip steak, the spicy tuna and avocado salad and the baked cheesecake for dessert.
Our waitress Ryushiro Hisaro and the rest of the staff were very attentive. The service there is of the highest standards.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant, i can still taste that cheesecake in my mouth:)

The worst of Japanese cuisine traditions. Lot’s of eggs and sauces. Fat food and not pure fresh tastes. Not because of this restaurant but in general. This is more fast food than a decent meal.
