I have visited this restaurant with my wife and friends. We have arrived on Sunday afternoon and all tables were reserved. However very polite stuff member did find a table for four.
We ate octopus with cheese, calamari with vegetables and noodles, sea urchin pasta and cuttlefish with cheese and prosciutto. The food was great, authentic and exciting. Prices are mid range but considering the quality, the view from the Terrace and really nice atmosphere I think you get good value for the money..
We will definitely go there again.

This place is so worth getting off the beaten track for. The food is lovely and traditional. The staff are friendly and I appreciated their good English! Make sure you book though as they are always packed. The only reason I give only 4 stars is that we went when they were fully booked and waited nearly an hour to eat. I feel like they need to consider expanding their kitchen to cope.

This place is great! Svim domaćim turistima toplo preporučam jer će dobiti više... Hrana je obilata i odlična a posluga je ljubazna. To all foreigners - if you want good food and greatest service don't hesitate you'll be stuffed and satisfied with rations. The atmosphere is cosily and romantic in the evening.

The restaurant is located in Rovanjska, a small and quiet place at the seaside, 30 km northeast from Zadar and 1,5 km northwest from the toll booths at the exit Maslenica on Zagreb-Split highway. (Latitude 44.25171, Longitude 15.54045) We offer you rich a la carte dishes based on Mediterranean cuisine. The restaurant has 50 seats in an enclosed, large Terrace with 100 seats and free internet access. Besides the good food and homely atmosphere you can enjoy breathtaking views of the sea and the Velebit mountain and in the evening ,one of the most beautiful sunsets. The Restaurant Bartol is ideal for organized groups up to 60 people.

We stopped here for lunch following a morning visit to the national park. Nothing to look at from the road but once inside a lovely roof Terrace overlooks the sea in-let. Good choice of food including meat, fish and pizza. Very reasonable prices (e.g. pizza for about 40 kuna;mixed grill with grilled veg for 85 kuna). Big portions (too big for lunch really). Definitely would recommend.

Ate here 3 out of 4 nights in Vinjerac. Excellent choice very good food and great value. Open kitchen where the staff all worked very hard. Our host made the evening very enjoyable, definitely recommend

We offer daily fresh offer such as grilled meats, fish, pizza, traditional dishes and desserts. 80% Of the menu is in its own production (homemade), such as meat and meat products, pizza dough, sausage, prosciutto, etc. If you want to try a new experience the taste of food, we think you're in the right space.

We found the restaurant on our second night in Maslenica. We had some beautifully cooked fish and a recommended local white wine. Food and service is great, but not easy to find. Have got here absolutely casually and have not regretted. Perfect location right by the sea, very cozy, calm and nice. The restaurant has a good menu with a variety of seafood dishes. We ordered mussels. They were cooked in tomato-garlic sauce - I liked it very much. Salad from an octopus with a potato has also liked. Good wine, pleasant atmosphere. And very good service. Special thanks to the owner for a pleasant conversation.
If you find yourself nearby - be sure to come here for a meal.

Beautiful, relaxed ambience, allows each guest to enjoy undisturbed in the Mediterranean, as well as continental cuisine. Great choice of grilled meats, fresh fish, pasta or pizza will provide to every voyager fireworks of flavors, with kindness and hospitality workers at buffet. Two terraces overlooking the sea and the sunset in the evening will please everyone.

In our search for a supermarket (because we were hungry, obviously ), we found this little pizzeria.
On a board, it said 'pizza baked on stone' ; in this part of Croatia, there is no lack of stones ! On the menu, different kind of pizza's with 2 dimensions : 32 cm or 50 cm. Having surprises of the pizza sizes before, we chose 2 of 32 cm. Little did we know...
Sipping on our local beer, the cook approached and asked who ordered what...when he put them on the table, the table was too small to 'accommodate' the 2 huge plates.
The pizza's were indeed baked on stone and very tasty. It was a Real pizza ! But no match for us... we got a doggy bag.
We'll go back...for sure !
