Really enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. We stumbled upon it as its across the waterfall and we found it while hiking. Really nice lady, homey little place and also has 2 rooms to rent - we would have stayed there if we had known!
Delicious Moni cakes - everyone in town knows here for them. Great juices. Worth a visit!

We slept in this place and the room was okay. A big red bayern munchen spread on the bed which we know was already slept under by a guy we met before. However price was negotiable and low and everything looked reasonable clean. Nice veranda which looks over the valley. Bring mosquito repellent. The restaurant/ bar is a hangout for budget travellers and gambling locals. Food was so so

I had the Gado-Gado and it was perfectly delicious! In fact it was the best I had in Indonesia!
The service was very slow and it's not the cheapest café/restaurant, but that didn't bother us much, because the food, the kind staff and the rainforest atmosphere were totally worth it.

We came here following TripAdvisor reviews. They are just correct.
Tiny cool little restaurant warung, three tables is all you find. We came in and shared table with other fellow travellers so that's nice to share experiences and anecdotes of their trips. Food is really good, ask for gado gado and bihun goreng. Beer is cold too. Price of food quite reasonable, beer is expensive though.
Great atmosphere, run just by the owner so if busy might be a bit slow. We had to wait a bit for food, but oh well, it was worth it.
And then there is Tomás the really old guy, fun to take pictures with him, he really enjoys it, even though he is a bit blind and cannot see the picture.

The food is really much better than at comparable restaurants without being more expensive. Refills of drinking water bottles offered. BTW, the sole ATM in Moni seems to be frequently not working. Better bring enough cash. If you run out of cash the small town...MoreGreat that you enjoyed our food and your visit to Mopi's! FYI Mopi's now has electronic payment options (credit card and indonesian debit cards).

A bit out of town (uphill) you'll find a hidden secret of the city.. The cook of good Moni is ex eco-lodge so he knows what to do with food. We tried soup and their daily suggestion, just top food for a fair price!
