Very very delicious hand made soba that only opens for lunch . Very long queue during holiday ! Must book beforehand or you have to wait for over at least an hour .

The view of Mount Aso is matchless but you'll be more interested in what's on your plate. A delicious set menu for lunch with local fresh veggies and meats at reasonable price. Well worth driving all the way up and down Aso to enjoy this little gem !
The slow drip coffee is also really good, well everything is really good actually. To be enjoyed slowly on a clear winter day...

ドイツ風の建物の中で、ドイツから取り寄せたという小物の置いてある店内で、本場ドイツで修業し、ドイツの国が認定したマイスターの資格を持つシェフ自家製のハム、ソーセージ、レバーヴルストの盛り合わせが頂戴できます。常時２０種類ほどの本場の味が用意してあり、これらの一部を盛り合わせで頂戴することができます。場所柄、車で行かざるを得なく、ビールやワインと一緒にといかないのが残念です。

食堂のようなレストランで、休日は混雑してごちゃごちゃしています。
注文や、片付けは基本セルフです。
天井が高く窓が広いので、阿蘇の山々を一望でき、お天気の良い日に行くと、気持ちが良いです。

地獄温泉で有名な曲水庵に家族で行きました。建物は、薄暗く田舎の古民家を連想される建物で、３００年以上の木材を使い、どこか田舎くさい雰囲気が漂ってました。
料理は、平安時代に楽しまれた「曲水の宴」に習い、中央にある小川に料理をのせた舟を浮かべて運ぶという風雅な趣向です。
この雰囲気の中で味わう野趣豊かな料理に、妻と私は満足しましたが、子供たちは今一という感想でした。

We we're on our way to the volcano's crater when we saw this little German coffee shop in the Mountains. We decided to stop by and have some coffee.
The decor is charming, very detailed and thematic. The owner told us that she loves Germany.
They have a menu with pics. We had coffee and shared a cake.
It's a bit pricey.

Absolutely worth every cent and it is not even expensive in the first place , US$50 for a set for two that includes 4 different cut and sides. The meat is definitely of premium grade and taste succulent after grilling (lightly). Love every bit of it and clean up the entire plate within 30 mins. The restaurant sits on a lush plain surrounded by greenery and sakura trees lining the fringe of the field. There is even a mini chip and putt golf course next to it. Don't miss out on your trip ti Minamiaso.

阿蘇五岳、南阿蘇鉄道を走る列車、田畑の素晴らしい景色が楽しめます。訪れた日は天気が良かったので、テラスで食事しました。有名な「プルニエ カレー」をいただきました。このカレーは大変有名で遠くからわざわざ食べにくる人も多いと聞きました。食事の後は、水質がよい阿蘇の水で入れたまろやかな感じのコーヒーをいただきました。

会社の人と夕食として焼肉セットを食べたが、味はまぁまぁ。肉の量も適当。ごはんと野菜は食べ放題。デザートとヨーグルトがついてきて、この値段ならリーゾナブルか。
