Wir haben einen Familienausflug in den nahe gelegenen Nationalpark Eifel im Steakhaus Zagreb gemütlich ausklingen lassen. Un dies bei schmackhaften und sättigenden Speisen, einem zuvorkommenden Service und in netter Atmosphäre.
Bei der Adresse des Restaurants scheint sich ein Fehler eingeschlichen zu haben: das "Zagreb" liegt in der Landstrasse 38 (und nicht Roggendorfer Str.). Der Stadtteil heißt Roggendorf.

The menu is extensive and tasty. International and Croatian dishes. Have been eating here for years and have never once been disapponted. Fast and friendly service. When my brother in law visits he must go at least once to eat there. He says they serve one of the best Steaks ever.

We were looking for a filling meal near Bergbuir, but it being a village it lacked options. A quick online search of area restaurants brought up this place and it being only 6 km away it was perfect.
Upon our arrival we were seated outside, and welcomed with a complimentary drink. Order was taken in German and the owner serving us also spoke english. they took the time to guide us through the menu helping us with our choices despite being busy....Food was absolutely amazing! Free salad bar, free welcome drink and free ice cream (which was lovely) at the end. ...the food was some of the best authentic greek we've had. thank you. oh, and the place is stylish and well run.

I came here for lunch with a friend and we sat in the area at the front. We felt the inside was a little dark for the afternoon. I had a jacket potato with grilled chicken and sour cream and a salad. It was very nice and certainly well presented but a tiny bit dry. I would recommend this place though, I enjoyed it here.

We came across this place while looking for a place to grab drinks and snacks at the end of a hike on a cold winter day. It was open around lunch time on a Sunday, which is pretty rare in these small German towns. The locals seemed surprised to see us, but were extremely friendly and asked us where we came from, where did we hike and did we find their little town to our liking. The service was also very good. They only start serving food from 18:00, but when we asked the waitress about it she said that if we are hungry, she will ask the cook to come in earlier, and that it would be no problem at all. Amazing!
The menu is typical to the area, schnitzels, potatoes and so on... Food and drinks are pretty cheap. All in all a lovely warm and homey place!

I ate here twice. It is a very big and very popular restaurant. Almost everyone chooses the buffet option which comes at 7,50 euro per person at noon, at 11,90 euro on weekday evenings and at 13,50 euro at Sunday noon and at weekend and festive day weekends (prices 2017). Very good quality and lots of choice! The owner is a friendly guy who came to sit at my table for a chat. Close to the centre of Mechernich.

Wir besuchten dieses Restaurant zum ersten Mal und waren sehr angenehm Überrascht eine solche Perle anzutreffen. Das Ambiente hat mich auf den ersten Blick beeindruckt. Wirklich Geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir wurden sehr freundlich Empfangen. Man begleitete uns zu unserem wirklich schön eingedeckten Tisch. Die Speisekarte bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas leckeres. Ich probierte die Empfehlung des Chef´s, den gemischten Fisch Teller. Der Fisch wurde mir erst am Tisch roh Präsentiert. Absolut frische Ware. Ich war begeistert. Meine Tochter hat sich ein Steak bestellt. Der Fischteller war sehr gut. Alles auf den Punkt gegrillt. Das Steak genau wie bestellt. So wie man es sich wünscht. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und schnell. Von mir volle 5 Sterne. Hier werde ich öfter hingehen!

Liegt anscheinend wirklich an der Tagesform?
Wie dem auch sei... Das Fleisch war Mega lecker!!! Der Service erstaunlich gut gelaunt und sehr zuvorkommend. Hut ab... Fährst sich so einiges verbessert!!! Hoffe das es so bleibt!!!
