Normally just have a pizza which is a special occasion for me as my wife with her allergies cannot share this experience. A good range of "gourmet" pizzas that go beyond the basic normal, love the lamb and BBQ duck options. Enjoyed a carbonara pasta as well which was generous and filling.
Well located near the beach and surf club.
One of the best attributes is service for a takeaway, no matter what time i request, they always do it on time.

First return visit to one of my favourite restaurants after change of ownership and I was very impressed.
Service and food had gone up a notch !
Calamari starter is a stunner.Can't think when I have had better
As for the pork belly...lovely decent sized serve of juicy meat and ever so crispy crackle.Spicy coleslaw accompanying pork was fabulous and cut through some of the richness .
My dining companion had the daily fish special of swordfish and said it was a winner.
Will be back when I am next up on the Sunshine Coast next month.

Extremely good quality, delicious, perfect consistency gelato. At $6 for a two scoop cup, and $5 for one scoop, I think they need to introduce a $3 children's small serve.... and put some more larger family tables out the front..... was a little miffed when my youngest didn't like the flavour of her scoop on the top of her two scoop cup, so I asked the attendant for a cup to place it in and she stated "that's 50 cents"....I had just spent $30 on gelato!

When we discovered our first choice restaurant was closed we checked our Brisbane and Sunshine Coast Entertainment Book and quickly selected The Loose Goose for a first visit by any in our family group. With a choice of Seating inside on the deck or inside, the restaurant can cater for large groups or small wedding parties. The menu is quite small but the choices sounded delicious and it was hard to choose. Two of us chose the seafood risotto, two the Asian style beef cheeks, one the 300gm steak and one the entrée size gnocchi which was as big as my risotto serving. Desserts were also a delight and shared around the table. We also appreciated the sparkler in our grandson's dessert to celebrate his birthday. Although we left around the closing time of 3pm there was no push to hurry us out. Prices were comparable with most good restaurants although the risotto serving I felt was rather small. Thankfully the men had tucked into two serving of garlic bread beforehand. Of course having the Entertainment Book we got 25% off our total bill was an added plus but we would never have known to go there otherwise. We will definitely recommend The Loose Goose to everyone.

Lots of people were in the dining area when we arrived for lunch but the eight of us were still served pretty promptly. There was a specials board for the day, specials for each day plus the normal menu .. a good variety to choose from. All meals came out together. Big portions. We enjoyed our meals.
Although most of the tables were taken, we were still able to talk and hear each other and noise wasn't an issue.
Will go again.

Stopped there for dinner. Schnitzel special on Thursday and a buffet was what we had, not disappointed! Good was tasty, and although they apologized that it would be a while to be served, it wasn’t bad at all. We might just go back again later this week! :)

Had friends visit us at our holiday apartment across the road. Ordered takeaway, recommended by permanent resident who consistently orders take away there. Prices were great, service was quick and friendly. Take away meals were good. Ordered Spring rolls, Beef and Black bean, Singapore Noodles, Honey King Prawns and special fried rice. It was as we expected, what we paid for and yes i would order from here again.
