This restaurant is not obviously a restaurant designed for tourists as it is located on the Asian side in a neighborhood unknown to tourists .
The restaurant is often crowded, the food they serve is mostly fish and is good and cheap, I'm not sure if the staff speaks English though.
No alcohol is served .
Recommended for an alternative evening among the locals .
You can reach this restaurant from Kadikoy with the metro and get off at Küçükyali .

Food is great and I wish I could go more often!
This place is very popular with locals so if you plan to come on a weekend expect to wait a little but usually not too long. Share a bunch of different meats in a group in order to try a little bit of everything.

Charming little place serving wonderful food near Tüyap conference exhibition centre, the lady who served me was so charming and helpful, if the food was excellent, this lady deserve every respect, she was the only person who spoke English and tried her level best to ensure the food experience is memorable.

Best Kebab in Istanbul, excellent meat, excellent "meze" (side dishes), excellent service.
"Lahmacun" & Bedri special kebab "kusneme" is especially suggested.
Deserts are very good, try a mixed plate.
You will not see a nice view from the restaurant, but after the meal you may walk 100mt down the road to see a nice "princess islands" view and have a nice walk for digestion.

Mekan,mahalle arasında,göreceli olarak orta derece dizayn edilmiş.Zaman içinde yapılan eklemelerle bütünlük ihtiva etmeyen bir yapıya sahip.Hafta sonu,ramazan gibi dönemlerde çok kalabalık oluyor ve hareket alanınız kısıtlanıyor ama garsonlar ve mekan yöneticileri iyi niyetli bir şekilde halloluyor.Çok iyi olmayı porsiyon bolluğu ve etlerin kalitesiyle hak ediyor.

The waitresses are professional enough, and they know how to treat their customers. Although they are trying to behave bit more informally, but this is rather a common way in Turkey. The important point is that they know their business, and they are ready to offer a good and quality food. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. Not a luxurious place, but one can organize informal or formal invitations, or just enjoy himself/herself.

Most of the customers at this restaurant are their frequent customers as you see and understand the communication between them and owner&service staff.We have visited this place on an advise by one of our friends and found here very good and tasty food at a very reasonable price level.
Recommended for any kind of reason.

This is a small hut/cafe in the grand bazaar. Polite staff, caters to tourists well and to top it all off the food is great and cheap.

The su boregi (water pastry) is excellent and so are their many baklava formats. I also highly recommend the sesame rolls for a slightly sweet more savory treat.
This branch no longer makes sugar free baklava suitable for diabetics, but the other branch just across the plaza near palmiye nuts and spices still makes it upon request if you order it a day earlier.
