Nice ambient in a quiet street just behind the Promenade. They have some rare local dishes with tipical island ingerdiants. We had the pasta with crab meat wich was simple and delicious and goulash with bread dumplings garnished with island herbs.. also very good! The only weak spot were the Deserts. All in all, a nice place to eat good local food!

This a very nice and charming place, located outside of Mali Losinj's crow. The service is mostly kind and the food very good. The fist time we had a meal there, my wife had local fish and found it excellent. I tried the local lamb, found it quite good but not excellent as compared to what you can find in others part of the Balkan (Herzegovina for instance). Second time, lesson learned, I had some fish too and found it excellent ! I'd really recommend this place for it's location, service and overall food rating.

The beautiful town Veli lošinj does not just offer its amazing sightseeing views but also gives tourists such as me a chance to eat in astonishingly good restaurant. I recommend this restaurant to all tourists that are located in lošinj!

This busy restaurant has a great harbour view. The tables are arranged on a small piazza outdoors. Simple, well prepared Croatian good - the grilled fish was excellent and very fresh, the meat was cooked to perfection. Nothing fancy but good food, great view and pleasant service made it a lovely evening.

10/5 !!!! Bora Bar is the perfect place to fully enjoy your lunch on vacations : perfect food, perfect view and very nice Chef ! And if you're not on vacations, go to Bora Bar anyway, the food/view will surely make your day (believe me I am franco-Italian and we know 2 or 3 things about food ;) !).

We went to this restaurant twice while on holiday. Both nights the food was excellent. Service was very good. The staff are very professional, they appear to have been well trained.
Wine was good too.
They are pretty good at dealing with small children. They aren't on the same standard here as good UK restaurants, Croatia seems a behind in comparison to other countries when keeping small children entertained over a couple of hours. However, our daughter found enough to occupy her.
Overall the price, service and food made this the best place we visited while in Losinj.

Fish restaurant near the centre of city Mali Losinj on the island of Mali Losinj.
During summer season book a table in advance.
Dress code: casual
Food: fresh fish or clams or scampi
Ambience: the restaurant has a nice isolated Terrace
Wine: by glass or bottles; they have really decent house white wine by glass or litre
Price: around 6-10 € for a starter and around 15-50€ for main (scampi are priced per weight for example)
Service: speak fluent italian, german or english; polite, nice
If you want fresh fish food, definitely visit!!

Very attractively priced traditional croatian food - cooked with an attitude. We ordered fish plate both cold as a starter and warm as main dish. The food was well presented, fresh and tasty. As dessert we had figs in red wine with ice cream, absolutely delicious. The staff was nice and helpful. If you are looking for gourmet food, go elsewhere, but be prepared to pay more than the double for something that may only be marginally better. If you are looking for inexpensive honest croatian food with a personal twist and a welcoming atmosphere - this is it.
