Good ambient with good food for reasonable prices.
The only little downfall is the service. There is one waiter (skinny one with good english) that is very corteus and attentive, but the other ones are sloppy and simply dont care.
Its not reason to not give it a try, I myself went 2 times in 3 days on this venue, just think that if they payed a little attention to the service they would do much better.
I recommend the Archipellago Appetizer.

A quiet intimate setting off the main drag Friendly professional service. Delicious preparation of local cuisine. Very quiet, no smoke , and a really nice collection on the menu. If you want good food prepared with artistic flare that gives you a sample of what Sardinia is , this is the place. Easy to find, very classy .

This is a medium size restaurant at the town center, few steps from the arrival of the "traghetto". We had really excellent food: an antipasto with Ricciola (fish) and Fichi d'India (a traditional fruit in Sardinia), linguine with vongole and polipetti. The service was prompt and the price was absolutely right. I recommend the place.

Sardinia is an old land. So old that the colors of nature and flavors of the food are fused in a unique and distinctive alchemy. It is difficult to explain, but when one says, "it is Sardinian", everyone understands what it means. We Sardinians have gone and looked everywhere. We went in search for small producers, those that produce fewer barrels of wine, fewer blocks of cheese, fewer varieties of salted meats. We searched for those that are not attracted by quantity because, for them, producing quality food is much more important. Now, their labors of love are on our tables, for you. We found great pleasure in searching out the finest and most authentic products, those that our surrounding lands offer us. We love that we are able to now offer these to you. We should have read the early warning signs. The 3 staff on duty were sitting on the restaurant steps as we entered. The TV was on, loudly. We had been told this is a good example of Sardinian cuisine. Luckily, we have enjoyed some other good examples, otherwise we would have been disappointed in local food. It was as if the staff had taken over while the owner was away. They were totally disinterested. We ordered the local pasta which was mediocre to say the least with an inferior tomato sauce. We also ordered the grilled meat and grilled vegetables. The meat was good but the vegetables were barely cooked and without seasoning. The house wine was the worst we've had in our 3 weeks in Italy. As soon as our food was served, the 3 people on duty went out to have another cigarette break. Lastly, we could not have coffee as they said the coffee machine was not working. Hard to believe. This restaurant is not on the main drag of the port and definitely not worth the effort to get there. Very disappointing.

Outstanding pizza cooked fresh in the wood fired oven. Very wide range of pizzas and very good pasta and antipasti. Bright Morden interior, plenty of Seating outside in a quaint charming part of town. Well worth seeking out and only wish I went twice to try. Ore of their delicious pizzas.

A really special location on the beach with the beautiful water surrounding. However the food was very average, we only had the bruschettas for lunch but bland and tasteless. They were busy so service was slow, the only way we got served was to go find someone.

Probably the best gelato we had on our trip! We tried the chocolate, pistachio, marscapone and straticella. All excellent. But be warned it gets busy at night and the sardinians are not very good at queuing!

Sailing around Sardegna every year. My kids and my friends always want to go to Roby's. Very friendly family run business, creating wonderfull pizzas! Very important: for desert go for the nutella pizza for the whole table! We always have a blast! Will go back!

A tiny restaurant tucked away around the corner from the main sea front. The restaurant is virtually a whole the wall and doesn't have dramatic sea views despite being opposite a yacht marina. What Il Ghiotone does have is intimate charm, outstanding Sardinian food and great service. Decent value for money given the quality of the food.
