Local sea food with Spanish set up (not only) because of the Spanish chef as we was informed by the operating personnel. The staff was very professional and helpful with guidance throuhg the menu (even in English ;-). The French Chardonnay suprisingly very good, although we should have started with a lighter option. Merci beaucoup!

On the "main street" on the tiny island of Les Saintes Terre Haut, just a short sail from the main Islands of Guadeloupe, is a true treasure. Mark, a charming young Frenchman from Lyons greets you and assures that your meal and overall experience will be memorable. Our three course luncheon with choices of appetizer, main course and dessert cost less than $30 per person without alcohol and was absolutely delicious without being over-the-top. Great care was taken for the presentation and preparation of each course and we left smiling and impatient to share our "find" with anyone going to this peaceful, and relatively unknown or a simple day trip from the better island of Guadeloupe itself..

i've eaten there probably the best octopus ever. The place is cool, the staff is very friendly... Gaele was really funny and cool... the place is a wonderfull experience over all... and I should say it's the only restaurant on the iland... so it's a must. For desert I would reccomend the bananas with rum wich are very tasty! Also the cost of a menu is around 19euros... wich is a good price for the caraibeans!

Reservations required for this small, quaint restaurant across from the commercial marina. Serving freshly prepared italian meals seasoned to perfection by the caring owner, maybe the best italian food available this side of the Atlantic.

We booked an hour prior, and very glad we did. It was packed, all tables taken.
A lovely atmosphere, very pleasant staff, wonderful food, beautifully presented, a pleasure to eat there.
A certain restaurant in Antigua should take note, this is how to run a restaurant, beautifully prepared food, generous portions, and pleasant and helpful staff......

Restaurant situé dans le bourg de Deshaies proche du port de pèche et face a la baie. Le paradise Kafé est accessible par la plage ou depuis la rue, ou, il vous suffit d'emprunter "l'énigmatique couloir" et au bout, vous tomberez sur un décor qui vous dépaysera. L'esprit du Paradise Kafé est : Famille, échanges, rencontres, convivialité, partage de compétences et mise en avant de réseaux, le tout autour d'un bon repas qur vous aurez choisis dans la carte présentée par Jean-Mi qui a toujours plaisir a accueillir (on dirait que c'est dans sa nature ;-) ) et cuisiné "fait maison" par Anne Patronne et chef en même temps ;-). Alors vous l'aurez compris ... Le paradise kafé est le lieu idéal dans Deshaies pour les locaux ou les touristes qui cherchent à se poser seul, en famille ou entre amis (d'ou les grandes tablées) pour décompresser et passer de bons moments face a un magnifique de soleil. A lovely little restaurant which looks so small from the outside but once you walk in are draped veils and fans keeping some much needed air flow with an excellent view of the ocean.
The staff are a delight, the chef even coming out and greeting us after we had our main course. We had grilled fish of the day and chicken columbo (local dish) which were both excellent with rice, salad, fruit, garnish- it really was everything you could ask for. With ti-punch in an assortment of flavours and a glass of wine coming in at €2 you could happily spend an afternoon here.

It began with a whipped black olive pate and the most delicious bread roll! Then on to a salad with slices of lobster. Then the entrecote served with a Bearnaise sauce that literally melted as soon as it touched the steak. A glass of light white wine and finished with crepes Suzette! No wonder they call it the best restaurant in Guadeloupe!
