A fleeting visit to Font Romeu and the second time at La Fromagerie in as many years. A really enjoyable night out in this very popular and slightly quirky restaurant. Good service and great food, albeit pricey. A good family night out.

Bottom of slopes, next to car park and hire shops. Inside, roaring fire sometimes lit, outside, Seating area for relaxing après ski. Table service no problems, quick, friendly, efficient. Only managed the crepes for breakfast not main meals but delicious. Recommended.

We had lunch at this delightful restaurant after a ride from Villelongue de Conflent on the Little Yellow Train. La Chaumiere is well worth the walk uphill to Font Romeu from the train station. The food was excellent and the staff impeccable. Highly recommended!

Found the crêpes quite average (good but not excellent). 2 types of cider are available: regular and sweet. The sweet cider was excellent. Dinners from 19:00.

we went there with kids. Good that they had table without reservation. We ordered steak hache and bolognaise for kids-very good. Steak was even well done as we asked, which is very unusual here. Pizza: there was misunderstanding and finally I got my pizza when family ate their desert..
If like pizza -go there.

A busy restaurant with terrific menu offering excellent wide choice of dishes. Could not fault a single thing. Presentation was superb, everyone in our party of 8 was delighted with their choice and the desserts are a thing of beauty, almost too good to eat (well, not really but so delicious). One of the best restaurants in France in our experience and with a panoramic view of the Mountains, perfect.

Bakery, pastry shop, take away, regional specialties restaurant, waffle, pancakes, cider, etc.
It is not easy to define this place but all the home made traditional food is excellent.
We were there for lunch and for an afternoon snack and highly recommend it if you wish to taste some traditional regional food. Kitchen is not open for dinner, but you can take away most meals to enjoy them elsewhere.

With short distance to suronding Valleys, espesially "la vallée d'Eyne", it was a perfect center for scouting. With all food based on local production and cooking we had interesting days as well as evenings.
The very friendly atmosphere in the owners family offered beers in the afternoon on the sunny terras.
With our guide Kim Falk (company propy.se ) we catched all small path and summits with pick-nick baugette and lectures about flora and fauna.

Excellent crepes, warm atmosphere. Highly recommended! The buckwheat crepes were authentic and delicious, with a wide variety of toppings. The dessert crepes were similarly great, and the cider is yummy.
