Наверное, если бы нам друзья не посоветовали лично, мы бы не нашли и не заехали в это место, мы были на машине, поэтому по навигатору быстро добрались, хотя находится ресторан далеко от отеля. Действительно много людей, но наверняка объясняется кухней и атмосферойю Пробовали Казан Кебоб, блюдо понравилось, мясо свежее-подойдет для любителей бранины.

Our restaurant is designed so that any visitor could understand the great history of Kalmykia and its nomadic people. Collected here are interesting exhibits, you can see reproductions of the amazing paintings Mongolian, Buryat and Kalmyk artists. And, of course, will try the cuisine of this steppe nomad. Daily 20% discount on lunch time. Every Friday and Saturday entertainment: incendiary Kalmyk dance and soulful folk songs performed by popular artists. Dinner out with business partners. Tried local Kalmyk dishes. "Sansn buhsh" is very nice. Relaxing atmosphere, good service, tasty food. A bit distant from city but worth it. Would definitely recommend to anyone and would come here again.

Quiet, cozy cafe in downtown. Situated in one of the oldest buildings in Elista - "Red House." Nice interior, lots of photos from different years of Elista. Tasty and inexpensive kitchen from European and national dishes, drinks for every taste, homemade desserts. Fast Wi-Fi. Summer Playground. Open from 12:00 until the last customer.

Nice cafe where you can try traditional local food and kalmyk tea, everything is tasty especially lamb meat.

Menu is only in azbuka and also staff don't speak english. But menu have a pictures and very friendly staff try help you. Ideal for dinner, because restaurant have very nice illumination with great atmosphere.

Я не приверженец баранины, но т.к. это мясо национальной кухни, мой друг заказал, а я пробовала выпечку-я была впечатлена вкусом теста и начинки, очень просто, но пальчики оближешь, возможно специи делали свое дело. Второе из баранины друга-оказалось очень вкусным, совершенно без запаха, видно, что мясо свежее и натуральное-чего не ссыщешь в мегаполисе.

The place is not a restaurant, just a cafe. Anyway they give you very tasty food for very cheap price. All food are national so you can feel the spirit of Elista. Lots of local people there that usually means place is good. We had a huge lunch with 3 different dishes and drinks for 500 rubles only. Everything is fresh and tasty, so can highly recommend. Just one thing: if you prefer vegetarian food - maybe it is not your place)

«Flamingo» is a marvelous restaurant, located at the City Chess – ecologically clean and still site of Elista. Once you are here, you will definitely return again. Wonderful scenery of the city landscape and excellent service will not leave you indifferent. We are happy to offer a wide range of dishes - from European cuisine to traditional Kalmyk dishes.

Очень хотели калмыцкой кухни отведать, прочитали тут хваленые отзывы. Приехали 7 января в 18:30 (на кафе написано до 22.00). Стали на парковку, вывеска горит, свет горит. Зашли внутрь, людей нет. Одна девушка в куртке стоит внутри (хотя есть гардероб), спрашиваем её: заведение работает? она кричит кому-то "..., люди пришли, спрашивают кафе работает?"... он ей орёт в ответ: "нет". Это знаете... Сервис, с большой буквы С...)
P.s.: вообще чтобы увидеть Элисту мы ехали 450 км., хорошо что в другом заведении нас все таки накормили вкусной местной кухней и впечатление сразу восстановилось. Так что даже не знаю что тут посоветовать, даже телефона у Цаган Сар нет, чтобы узнать когда оно все таки работает. Шараж Монтаж.

The menu is really big and have a lot of choices of salads, soups, meat and great desserts. The only problem is that the menu is only in English and if you're not with a translator it can be very difficult to know what to order. The best thing I liked about this place was the beer from Tap called Bavaria. Is probably the best beer I've ever tasted ever!!! If you're with a group of friends order the offer of 8 beers. Great place

"Кюр"- это название традиционного блюда, которое готовится особым образом примерно-сутки. Ждать столько вас, конечно, никто не заставит,но кухня там отменная, порции большие. Соответственно, и средний чек повыше, чем в-некоторых кафе с калмыцкой кухней, но ваш желудок будет доволен))) Водили туда своих гостей из других регионов - понравилось всей компании.
