Had not visited in some time and walked into a very lively crowd on
a Saturday night. Found a couple of seats in the bar and found a decent
wine list and a few craft cocktails. Ended up dining in the bar area which
turned out to be just fine. Foods enjoyed included brie en croute, veal
medallions picata and some really tasty crispy duck with wild rice. Although
not ordered the Filet with a bordelaise sauce looked fantastic. Good
service. friendly people and good food. Bar area inviting enough that
I will return pretty soon for their 4-6 pm Happy Hour.

This is a wonderful restaurant. High quality food with friendly service in a warm and cozy restaurant. Recently went with my husband for a holiday dinner. Oysters on the half shell and oysters Rockefeller where both terrific. My husband always likes the duck! I had the swordfish special. They have a great wine list and you can eat in the bar too. I suggest reservations.

We had a group of four couples stop in for an after dinner drink. They have a creative selection of cocktails. My wife and I had the apple rosemary bourbon old fashioned that I liked but she thought was a little sweet. One of our party wanted a glass of Bailey’s, but they didn’t have any. She had Rumchata instead. Cute place, very crowded. The food looked and smelled great.

When we are jonesing for custard, Wholly Cow is our local favorite. They mix up custom flavors for you on a cold stone...not unlike the Coldstone Creamery...only better.

I had been a dedicated patron of Stone Creek Coffee for over 11 straight years at their Delafield store. That is if you call one visit a day with rarely a miss regular of course. I have spent literally thousands here over this time. The past couple of years though there has been a change in the philosophy of this company. They have gone from a local friendly coffee shop with warm friendly personable staff and a great steadily consistent product to one touting "coffee science". In this transition the product line has changed to a more snobby approach of single sourcing, small farms and single variety at a little higher cost which I could deal with but, along with this the nature of the baristas has also changed. It is still a young group of folks which is nice but not so much the clean cut high school early college youth that used to man the store. There has also been a lot of change over. So, despite my desire to stand fast with my allegiance to a long time friend (Stone Creek) in the hope it would return to the way it once was I have un-liked them on my Facebook account, opted out of the e-mail news letter, spent the last penny on my vintage coffee card and moved on up the street to SB Coffee where thy too already know my name and favorite drink. (I also like the convenience of their smartphone app.) Sorry Stone Creek. It was great while it lasted.

I go to Picnic Basket all the time after hiking at Lapham Peak. It's always outstanding. I've tried almost everything on their menu and have never been disappointed. A hidden gem worth seeking out!

I have had breakfast at the Lumber Inn a number of times. The Omelettes are my favorite entrees. They with frresh ingredients and a good helping of hash brown potatoes.
Service is great and the food is delicious at the Lumber Inn. Nice homey setting with good people !!!

Have dined here numerous times. Most recently decided to take advantage of their $2.00 Tacos on Tuesdays as they are a great deal. Sat at the bar (dining solo), had two carnitas and two grilled fish tacos, EXCELLENT. Ordered a rye Manhattan, also excellent. Young lady working at bartending station was very good, engaging and attentive to patrons seated at the bar. Ordered a dessert and coffee too, given a comp on the dessert as the one I originally wanted had sold out!!!!
Food ABOVE AVERAGE, service, EXCELLENT.
Highly recommended and I WILL go back!!!!
