「大曲（おおまがり）の花火」で有名な大仙市大曲地区にあります。ＪＲ大曲駅から南進して徒歩２０分程度。近くに保健所など県の出先機関があり、赤白の無線用鉄塔を目印にすれば迷うことはないでしょう。似たような飲食店が３軒並んでいますが、一番道路（東）側のお店です。入口横には自家製製麺機が置かれており、店主の拘りの程が伺えます。春休み時期のランチタイムに訪問しましたが、周辺のサラリーマン、年金受給者、観光客で混んでいました。中華そば（５５０円）の大盛（５０円増し）に豚めし（１５０円）を注文しました。朝らーめん（７時～１０時３０分）の掲示もありました。同業者とのコラボや新メニューも積極的にトライしているようで、地方都市で新進気鋭の元気なラーメン屋に遭遇するのも１つの楽しみであります。

ドイツ風ハム、ソーセージの嶋田ハムの直営レストランです。自家製ハム、ソーセージの料理はもちろんのこと、ドイツ直輸入のスパイスを効かせたハンバーグステーキが秀逸です。肉汁たっぷりでジューシーに焼き上げてあり、ソースもくどくなくおいしく頂戴できました。木のぬくもりを感じさせる店内は落ち着いた雰囲気で、ゆったりと味わうことができました。

大曲駅前閑静な花火通り商店街入ってスグ左。ハナキンは予約必至。午後７時台アポ無しはほぼ不可能。諦めて帰る一見さん散見。狙い目は一次会団体様一行やバ○ップルが引ける午後９時前後かも。運良くカウンターに滑り込むことができました。店内は客の高笑いが絶えることなく大繁盛。

チェーン店の焼肉屋さんですが、味はなかなか美味しいです。特にりんごカルビがオススメです。りんごベースの甘辛のもみだれで焼くカルビは柔らかくてジューシーでいくらでも食べられます。サイドメニュー含め、メニューの豊富さも嬉しい。

Restaurant is divided into many small private rooms suitable for pehaps 4 people. For bigger groups, it looked like larger spaces could be made by removing some partitions. As a solo diner, the thin partitions meant I didn't feel separated too much from the diners in the other rooms; the place certainly seemed popular.
There is an extensive menu coverIng a variety of Japanese dishes plus a few foreign choices as well. A clear menu with pictures to help those who don't read Japanese. OrderIng is through a tablet on the table, and is pretty intuitive even for non-japanese readers. Once ordered, service is quick and efficient.
I had the fusion Japanese Ceasar salad, a (very) large sashimi selection, some fat rolls, a creme brulee for dessert and a couple of beers. The food was good and tasty and filled me up. It seemed expensive at the time, but I did eat a lot.
I found out later this restaurant is part of a chain, but don't let that put you off - I might seek them out in other cities.

大曲駅前に昔からある地場の居酒屋とか。連休の谷間の午後８時過ぎ２軒目に訪問、一回転したのか予約なしでも即カウンターに案内されました。刺身と焼物には定評があるとか。生中（ドライ、一番搾り）が３２０円（※全て税抜）、焼き鳥は単品１２０円～とリーズナブル。焼き鳥数本に能代沖産天然活魚メバル刺５８０円、こだわり豆腐田沢湖生保内産善五郎揚げだし豆腐３８０円など適宜注文。三平焼き２個４００円は揚げものに納豆がタップリ入っているので納豆好きには堪えられない代物でしょう。焼物は網に押し付けて１個１個丁寧に仕上げているので出来上がりに結構時間がかかります。店内分煙なし、クレジットカード使用不可と地方都市の飲食店によくある光景ですが、地場の居酒屋で肴と杯を愉しむのも至福の時かと思われます。

I have visited Omagari 4 times in the last 18 months on business spending a month in the city and have eaten lunch and dinner there at least 14 times.
I cannot say enough about it, the service is wonderful, an extensive menu that I have not tired of yet, beer on tap and of course a wide range of sake.
The owner speaks very good English and there is usually another staff member on duty that does as well. An English menu is available.
Only a 5 minute walk from the train station.
Highly recommended :)

大曲駅から線路沿いに南下すること７、８分。グルメサイトで評価の高い新進気鋭のラーメン店。週末の夕方訪問。入口の券売機で特濃ラーメン８００円＋麺大盛１００円を注文。Ｌ字型カウンターの店内にはヘビメタ系ロックが流れ、モノトーンブラックな内装とシックな模様。座席や荷物をバスケットケースに入れるよう夫婦らしき店員から指示されます。－超油厚豚骨－とお品書きにある特濃ラーメンは、魚粉もトッピングされてベジポタ的というか天下一品的なコッテリしたトロトロ出汁。豚骨臭さは感じられず、ザク切りされたネギの風味が際立ちます。麺は中太ストレート。逆三角形の器は大盛いえどもビジュアル的には見た目少な目で損な印象を受けました。

国道１３号線→県道５０号線へナビを頼りに大曲駅方面へアクセス、三叉路の間にあり駐車場は５台程度とテクが必要。休日の午後１時半頃到着。運よく駐車スペースを確保できましたが忽ち満車。母娘らしき女性が元気に切り盛り。トロトロのホロホロチャーシューが有名とか。チャーシューメン７５０円＋大盛１００円で注文。程無くご対麺。中ストレート麺に大き目なチャーシューが３個、他にメンマ、ネギなどトッピング。甘めの醤油味。大盛雖も適量。完食完飲間違いナシ。屋号は大曲ラーメンとシンプルながら、実態はディープでインパクトがあります。
