For some reason, the onsen town here, Togura-Kamiyamada has a large number of Chinese restaurants. Daishanhai is one of the tastiest.

長野観光の帰りに寄ったお店で、長野市から見て更埴インターに乗る直前左手にあります。
オーダーしたのは、にしん甘露煮・山菜添えと天ざる。
蕎麦は手打ちのようで太さが異なっていて、またちょっと辛味のある蕎麦つゆととてもあっていて美味しかった。
天ぷらも、しなっとしておらず、表現が難しいが、丁寧に挙げてあるのか、具が新鮮な状態であり美味しかった。
ニシンも一緒についていた味噌の風味ととてもよくあっていて、大変美味しかった。これだけでも個人的にはアタリ！と思う。
店内は日本家屋風の造りで非常に趣がありセンスが良い。外観も水車や庭園などあってとても良い。
全席禁煙なのがうれしい所だが、クレジットカードが利用できない点がちょっと残念。
Wifiも不通。

姨捨SAの下り線は初めての訪問です。昼食時のピークは過ぎた後でしたが、休日だったため結構混雑していました。
信州みそラーメンが美味しそうでしたが、食事をした後で食べられず残念。
スナックコーナーの他、レストラン、ベーカリー、お土産が買えるショッピングコーナーがありました。

ここは肉質がよく、にんにくの効いたタレがたまらんのですよ❗サイドメニューがほとんど無い店なので肉食い一本って感じですよ～でもここで注意点、一人前の量が多いので調子に乗って頼むと肉地獄ですよ

旅館に夕飯をつけていなかったので温泉街の中にある「古波久」に行きました。
外観はツタがからまったおり、ちょっと入るのに勇気がいります。
しかし、中に入ると囲炉裏があってとても雰囲気がありました。
お酒もお料理もおいしくいただきました。
印象に残ったのは、この辺りの名物らしいおしぼりうどん！
辛ーい大根おろしにつけて食べるのですが衝撃のお味！衝撃の辛さ！
酔いがさめるから〆にいいのかもしれません。
あまりの辛さにゆで汁を入れつつ少しうすめて食べましたが、おいしかったです。

Daikoku-ya's main dish is their ramen. People come from far and wide to eat their orthodox take on this quintessential Japanese dish. The locals of course also love their ramen, but Daikoku-ya's garlic sauce tonkatsu is legendary. If you really, really like garlic, you gotta try their 'ninniku-tare' (garlic sauce) tonkatsu.

Izakaya with a very stylish design and carefully-prepared dishes to match. Their menu is as thick as a book -- there are so many dishes to choose from. Some of the menu items are a bit challenging, so the more adventuresome you are, the more you will likely enjoy Santensan. My favorite is the basashi (horse sashimi). The owner has a gruff exterior, but you can tell he takes pride in his operation and has a kind heart.

お蕎麦に鱒の刺身など小鉢が数点付いた「しなの重」（税抜1810円）と蕎麦ガレット付の蕎麦セットのハーフ和膳(税抜1150円）を、藁ぶき屋根の古民家の造りの店内で、戴きました。細い繊細な蕎麦は上品で、その分、量は決して多くありませんが、店の雰囲気と上品なお味で、一度は行ってもよい店です。椅子席もありますが、背もたれのない安定のない椅子でした。お箸が、お蕎麦を食べるには、非常に食べやすい箸で、売店で購入しました。

Shichifuku is arguably the best place for oyaki dumplings in all of Nagano. Known as Nagano's "soul-food", you'll find oyaki pretty much anywhere you go in the prefecture. But most of the time, it's like "How many days old are these oyaki?" At Shichifuku, she grills them right then and there when you order, so they come piping hot and go sooooo good with a cold beer!
