I came late Friday evening. Not many customers dine in that time but the restaurant staff gave warm welcome to our group. The environment is cozy and relaxing. There are several separated dining rooms suitable for lunch/dinner meeting or small party. Taste of the food is average.

Right after I am landed on Palu, I was picked up by the Tourism Department's staffs and they brought me to this restaurant to get some bite to eat. The meals provided here was looks and tastes good. One thing that make this restaurant different is they had Kaili's (one of the local tribes in Palu) menu.

I stopped in this place for lunch. Indonesian food is served there, with fresh fish and lots of rice. Service is non existent there. Tables were not cleaned, covered with used plates, glasses, napkins. We had to move the dirty dishes from one table onto another to free space for our lunch.

Uta Dada is a specialty dish of Palu, Central Sulawesi. It's made of rice cooked in a pouch made form weaving coconut leaves. It's usually eaten with a spicy, herbal (curry & others), chicken broth. This restaurant was situated on top of a hill overlooking the city of Palu and the bay - a very scenic eating place. The place itself is very modest and simple, but don't let this fools you. The restaurant was featured in the President magazine.
I tried the Uta Dada and also some grilled chicken. They were so yummy I went for a second helping.
