We've had better 'moules frites' and have had worse. Service was I efficient and friendly. And they don't default to English as soon as they hear see that one is foreign. Points for that.
However, I would be surprised if any of the sauces are actually made in house.
Typical seaside 'turn and burn' operation.
Your mileage may vary.

This is a place I remembered fondly from my last visit in Sausset. I was actually a little saddened to see it a little downsized. Last time there have been almost as many waiters as the guests... Such a pity that the economic downturn seems to touch absolutely everyone, even the ones that do not deserve it at all. Fortunately the host is still the same, a lovely lady that is the true soul of this establishment
During my stay, I visited this restaurant twice. First time for Menu Gourmet and then Detente Gourmande... Both times the weather was nice enough to sit on the Terrace.
All dishes were impeccably prepared and absolutely delicious. I chose an award winning 0,5l bottle (!) of local wine, which was delicious. The staff was very keen to take care of the guests and explain everything about the dishes.
During my second visit, I was given a book on restaurants in France by the host, as I told her that I was leaving the following day. It was a very nice touch and I was really sad to leave Sausset. For sure I am going to be back to Les Girelles, by far the best restaurant in the region!

We had lunch here after a trip through the Calanques. Can recommend the duo of loup et dourade as mains. I had the dish of the day, dourade with mango sauce. That unfortunately was only average and the fish a bit rubbery. And the rice was mixed with some older variety which makes me give minus points to an otherwise good experience. we ate in the brasserie, which is next door to the restaurant.

My wife and I had lunch here today with her sister who lives in the area and has been dining here for years. Unfortunately, two of three Dorados that we ordered were under cooked. Further, the waiter was very rude and condescending to my wife, who is French. Her sister was highly embarrassed and left a 1 euro "tip" for the waiter.

Busy but still quick service. We just had 3 pizzas, each of them were very good. Would go again if the kids were hungry for a magarita pizza.

Menus give great value for money, a la carte is expensive. Overall prices are a bit more expensive then the hotels along the harbor, but the food qualiy compensates this. Not really recommended with small children.

It seems to be run by the same owners as La Cabane, as both have very similar menus, though there are a few insignificant differences. I found this one to be a little more family friendly, and with even nicer views of sea and sunset as it is actually placed on a beach :)
My first time round I had a ham pancake, which was enormous and delicious. I came here also on my last night in Sausset to enjoy a great chevre burger...
This place is queieter and more relaxed than its port counterpart. For sure worth the visit.

This little restaurant is big on service and culinary delights! We were on a University Study tour and stayed not far from La Cabane .. we discovered it one lunch time and then returned three more times to savor the wonderful daily specials of lamb shank, Canard and seafood. Highly recommend dining at this restaurant.
