Welcome to Vivace. Our Suburban Italian restaurant (established in 2004) has a very classy and warm atmosphere, with soft and intimate lighting. Professional staff members are knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, and offer a non-intrusive level of service at all times. The tantalising menu ranges from fresh seafood to quality meat, with specials that change daily to keep regular diners happy.

Our second time with a small group, one of the noisiest places I can ever remember but that's OK it's fine for family groups and noise is normal to kids. All the dishes are delicious, ask for help when ordering. The staff are OK and not great with English but work at it - the reward is the food. The serves are X Large so go easy on what you order - or ask for take away left overs. They sell beer but wine is BYO (you are not permitted BYO beer). We will go back

Paradai Thai

Reviewed By justdoinggeography - Melbourne, Australia

Busy and cosy neighbourhood Thai which serves tasty food, which is probably the reason why its so busy. The service was good being attentive and pleased to serve. Follows SE Asian protocols for "personal space", so you're never too far away from someone (best described as cosy!!). The food is really good. I was served one of the better Thai curries that I've had for a while. Good value.

Paradai 2 Thai

You have a listing for Paradai Thai Restaurant at 75 Koornang Road, Carnegie, however there is another Thai restaurant directly across the road from this one called Paradai 2, and this is the one I went to and would like to review. I assume having such a similar name that they may even be run by the same people, but either way it is a separate restaurant and the distinction needs to be made. Thanks.

Visited for a birthday dinner upon recommendations of friends. Bentwood chairs quaint but very uncomfortable. My sister and I both had the Fish on the Beach which was tasty and quite spicy with chilli throughout the dressing and on the fish. My father had the special ‘Honey Soy Ribs’ which he found a little sweet but very tasty. We were disappointed that there was only one panacotta available for dessert by the time we ordered but the restaurant is small so order early if you want to ensure you get what you want. Moderately priced restaurant but quality food that seemed fresh and well presented.

Recently had a milestone birthday at our local gem Via Fratelli.
Jonathon our host made the occasion trully memorable with nothing being a problem and accommodating all our requests.
The food was amazing and tapas idea as a sharing suggestion was fantastic.
We will be back.
