First..this is an Asian dining experience. Second the view is outstanding especially when you have a super moon. It overlooks the beach. Zero complaints about any thing. I went with the Thai meal. It was so good. Best wonton soup ever!! We had a little Japanese paper wall enclosed booth for four people.

We stopped here as part of a coast to coast tour (RCR) & learnt about the house's 300 year old history. It has been lovingly restored & features many old artefacts including furniture, cameras & early opticians equipment. There are also carriages in the basement, & the house itself its beautiful, though fairly small. It doesn't take long to complete the tour.
The buffet lunch was good (chicken, fish, curry, rice, salad & bread pudding). An interesting day.

The Crane only had this one restaurant open for breakfast. The only dining option was an overpriced full buffet. The variety was the normal breakfest fare and included fresh fruits and a made to order omelette stand. But, your only choice was to pay the full buffet price plus a service charge even if you only want toast and coffee. This large resort (really a time share that also rents out suites by the night) needs to offer more a la carte choices including simple breakfasts like just breakfast cereal, a european style selection of cold meats and cheeses, or similar.

Cutters is a local deli catering to all food lovers; we feature Bajan flying fish cutters, very special rum punch, and traditional West Indian - roti, jerk, pepper pot... and some comfort classics pizza, quesadilla, ICE CREAM !!!

We were recommended to pop in Cutters for lunch as we were staying close by ( The Crane)
The Flying fish cutters with homemade coleslaw are superb.
The wonderful waitresses recommended
Having it with some of the hot sauce...
We could have stayed, sitting on that veranda all day...
Returned back a few times, they even sell the hot sauce in their deli...
And I even bought one of the headscarves that the waitresses wear ( because I burnt my head )
Next time I’m on the island, even if we’re not close by, we’ll stop for lunch...I’ll be the one in the bright yellow headscarf !

Launched in May 2014, we are a "Rum Shop" offering great value for money for our customers and happily serve rum and spirits by the mini, flask or the even the bottle... We are a family run business and our staff will do their utmost to ensure an enjoyable visit each and every time. We play relaxing music ranging from the 70's, 80's and today's hits. Every Friday we have a fish, chips & mushy pea night... As for sport we will do our best to screen all the top sporting action in the "Mount gay" Lounge.

We were at first concerned with the lack of choices as we were staying in a private villa near the Crane Resort, but Marco Polo was recommended to us by our hostess, as well as from the good things on T/A. Easy email reservation and response to arrange a table the morning of.
We were not disappointed. Although our waitress was new, she garnered an "A" for effort and honesty and we worked through the electronic orderings system with her. She was assisted by the owner and another waiter and we did not lack for service.
The food was prompt, ample and cooked perfect. The Mrs. enjoyed the Mahi and I tried the Flying Fish and we both commented how fresh and perfect both were along with the interesting selection of sides.
The only word of caution would be in not drinking the tap water, which I did. I ordered a bottle of "flat" which usually results in a purified, sealed bottle, but we were provided tap in a former rum bottle. I took pity on the new waitress and did not make a fuss, but wish I had. There are current warnings about local water which turned to be true, at least for me. Unfortunately it was the only time of the week I did not drink bottled water.
Obviously this is a government issue and not on the owner, but would suggest in all locations to stay away from the tap.

Reservation is recommended. Had dinner here twice....enjoyed ourselves on both occasions. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Menu is reasonably priced at the mid-range. Food was good and service was great! Good wine list and alcoholic beverages. Recommended!

Staff were very friendly and attentive especially Shelley and Jason...which made us return a couple more times.
The Bajan Mahi Mahi (Fish & Chips) is very good. Prices are in the mid-range category. Alcoholic beverages and cold beers are available.
Great views of the Crane and it's grounds, the ocean and the sea breeze was fabulous.
Recommended!

One cannot speak of this grill without taking in the fantastic views overlooking the South Eastern coast of the island. It is stunning. The food was excellent and tasty. The waiting time for my grill snapper was approx. 15 minutes and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant is off the beaten track but well worth the trip. It opens from 11:00 A.M to whenever.

It's more like an upscale makeshift hamburger stand. The atmosphere and ambience isn't too bad. The benches and umbrellas provide a reprieve from the sun soaking at the beach. Restrooms are close by....too close I think.
The service is very slow. The kitchen staff is slow and our waitress was even slower. Slow with the beers...slow with the food...slow with the utensils....slow with the condiments....slow with more beers...did I mention slow?
Food is nothing fancy....Bajan and American....fast food style. Prices are at the lower end of the mid-range spectrum.
The big negative drawback for us is the wanton use of styrofoam & plastics at this bar & grill which is part of The Crane. As a player in the so called 'luxury' lifestyle arena, overlooking one of the top ten Beaches in the world, I would imagine that the owner/management/corporation be prudent enough to at least try and take a positive step toward environmental friendliness.
If you're gonna spend a day at the beach soaking in the sun, sea and sand, then being a captive audience as such, you'll probably have to enjoy lunch here at The Grove.
