Casa Lin

This was hands-down our favorite meal during the trip, and a top 10 meal of my life! First of all, the service was superb. We are limited in our Spanish, so we asked for a menu in English and after that, the owner personally came and helped us with questions, recommendations on how much to order, and then just checked in to make sure we were good throughout the night. The seafood paella was divine! I am not even a huge paella fan, but this was sooooo good. My husband and I were able to nearly finish the 2 portions, though it was a ton of food. Fortunately, the owner advised against us ordering a starter since the paella was plenty no it's own.

Restaurante La Capilla

We visited from a cruise ship and tried lunch at La Capilla restaurant in the NH Palacio De Ferrera hotel – recommended by some of the ship’s officers. Thanks to them for that, it was simply exquisite.
The hotel itself is a delightful old building. Many original artworks are on display. The public areas beautifully preserved and appointed. There are very pleasant Gardens to the rear.
La Capilla restaurant has a lunchtime special menu. My choice was a gorgeous King Prawn Risotto, a Sirloin Wellington and fruit & yoghurt dessert. It was cooked to perfection and one of the best dining out experiences in quite a while.
The restaurant style is slightly formal, but unhurried and friendly. Staff members and Maitre D’ very attentive. Lunch here starts late at 1:30pm and by 2:00 has filled up with a good local business clientele.
We loved the look of the hotel and the dining experience so much that we are planning to return in the autumn and stay here.

We read the reviews in trip advisor and chose the restaurant because of the reviews. As it turned out the excellent reviews were well deserved. We had the kobe beef medallion - basically the worlds best hamburger patty with great scalloped potatoes (the english translation menu calls them "potato chips" but they are scalloped potatoes) and the iberico ham entree. Both fantastic and our server and her father could not have been more welcoming. They even treated us to a home made cheese not on the menu for an appetizer., overall great service and a great meal! Come here! Its peaceful and welcoming and deliscious!

People were snacking outside mid evening so I went in and discovered the restaurant opened for dinner at 9 pm. I asked to see the menu and had a few confusing moments before finding one waiter with a little English - she gave me the correct dinner menu and I booked for 9 pm
I enjoyed 3 sushi dishes exquisitely presented on thin slate, a beer and a glass of the house red - a well-priced Roija
The next night I returned with friends from Washington State. We sat just outside at one of the large wine-barrel tables, again enjoying Tuna Nigiri to start - the daicon excellent and the wasabi good quality
The shared veal cheeks with truffled rice was also a hit, going well with the house red. The veal melted in our mouths - delicious
