Paolo is the greatest bartender!!! Fast, smiling, and beautiful cocktails! Everything you want on a night out in a great setting! Atmosphere is great with lights and heaps of setting options for small or large groups. Looking over the lake surrounding Flores.

This place rates top marks for open air atmosphere and service. Of course, they have a shop where one can buy the typical Guatemalan souvenir goods. The food runs the gamut from excellent to not so excellent. My wife tried the grilled chicken and I was lucky enough to try a couple of bites. It was nice. I ordered the grilled chorizo and didn't score so well. I could tell that it had a nice flavor, but it had been on the grill so long that it was like trying to cut in to a football. Needless to say my lunch consisted primarily of tortillas.

We stayed in Flores, but wanted to visit the market and have lunch in Santa Elena. This is the place to be. 45Q for tasteful spare ribs from the grill and a beer. Popular place, almost full when we were there. You sit outside, like in a garden. Good service. Value for money. Near the market, only 5 minutes walking.
