We visited today with our two children and had a great experience. We had the seared tuna salad, fish wrap and two childrens meals. It was all delicious, homely and delivered with lovely, friendly service. They even used fresh pasta for the childrens meal and gave them great activity packs to keep them occupied. Definitely worth a visit!

Called in with family members who live in the south if France. Both of whom agreed that the food was excellent quality, well cooked and presented. Very pleasant staff and a comfortable dining area.The meal was excellent value when we considered what we had eaten.A dining experience we will certainly repeat soon.Thank you.

I wish this place was closer to home (there again in the interests of my waistline maybe not). This is the second time Iâve chosen this restaurant for my wifeâs birthday and our anniversary family get together. Geographically it is central for our spread-out family and opportunity to meet as a family are rare, so this place has to be something special, and special it is, the food was great plentiful and well prepared everybody enjoyed it immensely. But the icing on the cake are the staff, attentive, efficient and very friendly nothing was too much trouble. The setting is great and parking easy, itâs a gem of a find and we will be back.Dear DadyGichHigh praise indeed! What a superb review and lovely comments. We have just returned from a meal out at this restaurant. We have been many times before and it is usually good but tonight was dreadful. Three of us paid for the aged steaks at £24:99. The well done one was pink we sent it back and it returned still pink the medium one was what I would describe as blue - bleeding all over the plate and totally put my son off his meal. The rare one was better cooked than the medium.TOTAL DISASTER. The acting manager came to see us she was very apologetic blaming a stand in chef. The two mains should have been deducted from our bill- but she knocked 40% off the two mains which is what people had vouchers for. Sorry beefeater but I think we part company here.

I went here for a meal with friends last Thursday I had never been before But saw that there were great reviews on TA I was not disappointed The meal was really good Excellent ingredients the meat is from Keelham farm so I know that's good I had chicken faritjas The chicken was perfectly cooked & nicely spicy & it was a big helping Very tasty ! the others had beef & turkey & al said the food was great Desserts was fab as well The staff were very attentive & its a very friendly place We went back on Saturday to watch a very good band Natural Rythem who were playing there
