A really wonderful trattoria, just as one would wish. The son of the family provides service, the mama cooks. My wife had delicious swordfish involtini, and I had lamb chops, both dishes excellent. A happy place.

We stopped in for lunch and were the only two patrons when we first arrived. They brought out a basket of the best bread I have tasted anywhere (except for the artisan bread I make at home). I asked if they made it on the premises and was told they bake it in their wood-fired oven. The spaghetti vongole was also very nice as was the pasta with swordfish in a red sauce. I have had their pizzas in the past which were also great.

I was excited to see two vegetarian options on the menu. But this was served by a very rude woman. The bun was stale and the chickpea burger fell apart it was so dry. I threw it away and didnât eat. Theyâre obviously very popular so maybe their meat options are good and they shouldnât bother with the vegetarian options as they clearly donât care about their vegetarian customers.

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining here two nights. The food was wonderful, the staff was courteous, friendly and delightful especially Michele. The pasta dishes were absolutely delicious and the fish was incredibly fresh. The fried anchioves we had as an appetizer the first night was marvelous. Light, crispy and not greasy at all. Our only regret is we couldnât eat there another night as we were leaving Cefalu. If you are in Cefalu we highly recommend you visit this jewel of a restaurant! Buon pranzo!
