I found ristorante Arca listed in the guide book L'Espresso with a very high rating and decided to check it out. The restaurant is located in the center of Alba Adriatica on the main street which ends on the Lungomare and shares a mid block location with an enoteca of the same name. Massimiliano, the chef and his brother run a tight ship with both a seafood and "terra" menu. My 3 friends all tried the seafood and were blown away by the Brodetto and the baccala' while I spoiled myself with a thinly sliced elegant pork dish with "Patanegra" pork from the Jamon Iberico region of Spain. I have never seen this in another restaurant in Italy, although I am sure you might find it in a starred restaurant in Milan, Rome of Florence. The service was impeccable with the chef taking everyone's orders and answering questions or advising you on choices which will delight your palate. His brother is at the ready with a nicely selected wine list with options from around the world, but the majority from the neighboring Abruzzo vineyards. Fresh breads arrive at the table with the amuse bouche and the tranquil, simple, but elegant ambience help make for a wonderful evening!

Vasto ed articolato il menù che propone questo ristorante con piacevoli diversità rispetto allo standard, il proprietario è sempre disponibile ad aiutare nella scelta. L'ospite viene accolto con una deliziosa entrée di benvenuto in un ambiente curato e armonioso. Nel servizio, nel nostro caso, c'è stata una piccola difficoltà nella comanda ma che è stata prontamente superata. La lista dei vini è adeguata così come il costo. Torneremo!

Siamo andati per un aperitivo; che dire sushi ottimo, servizio cortese e professionale, location carina e accogliente. Certo il prezzo è diverso da quello di uno you can eat ma vi assicuro che ne vale la pena! La qualità e la composizione dei roll o dei nigiri è ottima! Se volete del sushi di buona qualità e siete disponibili a spendere qualche euro in più non potete perdere questo locale! Lo consiglio vivamente!
4. Burger 'n' Roll
Il nostro locale si propone come il giusto equilibrio tra due mondi totalmente differenti tra loro: il sushi, piatto tipico della tradizione giapponese, e l'hamburger, famosissimo ormai in tutto il mondo come l'incarnazione dello spirito americano.

Un posto unico nella zona, dove si possono gustare degli ottimi panini (sia di carne che di pesce) e degli ottimi e particolari roll! Si vede che il posto è curato e pulito, si vede anche la passione e la qualità delle portate che escono dalla cucina! Ci torneremo SICURAMENTE.
