My wife and I visited Nipa Hut in Newport for an evening meal with our friends.We were treated to a great welcome by the staff and chef who is the owner.The food is superb quality, a real taste of the phillipines at a really affordable price.It was great to try so many different types of phillipino food and I have to say that everything we tried was excellent.We will definitely return to try the rest of the menu !!Definitely worth a visit.

the past few years with different owners were very bad but the new owner is amazing , he is friendly very chatty and has the best food , all of it is handmade in the back the pizzaâs are traditional and the kebabss are amazing because he is from turkey , I would recommended the tasty tub because you get a lot for your money . The chips are amazing as well .

I've been here lots over the past 2 years and it's the only fish and chips take away we use. However on a recent visit I was really disappointed with the fish. The batter was thick and greasy. The fish was thin and didn't have much taste. I'm not sure if it was a one off or things have changed. Maybe things will pick up but for the time being I've been put off.

Absolutely disgusting robbery and tasteless chips and very unpleasant fish and sausages too. I asked for all to be cooked fresh as stuff in counter heaters looked inedible. It was still disgusting. Generous portion of chips but I threw it all away. Absolutely horrid. Wish I'd tried curries instead!
