If you like horses, riding, this is the right place.Less than an hour from Milan, in the middle of nowhere but wonderful ground for horse riding, well equipped.The restaurant is quite big, on two floors, try get a table next to a window to have a view of the countryside.The food is heavy, you will find game but also fish.innovative dishes.Game is from the region mainly , I would strongly recommend you follow their suggestions.Truffles at 6⬠per gram are acceptable, best on a warm dish like eggs or tajarin that will enhance their flavor. Wine list good but prices are high considering the location.Service is good standard.A good meal for about 50 per person.

We ate dinner in a Sunday evening. The âvaultâ room was full of young locals enjoying their pasta and wine. The gnocchi we tried was delicious! So was the service and the whole atmosphere. Totally recommended since it is not a tourist trap, but obviously the top choice of locals....

I have been there several times in the last year. Needless to say that beer is the icing on the cake. The food is top quality, the staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Desserts are the only sore point, they are good, but I think you can do much more with them.Ciao! We went to the restaurant on Sunday evening with my husband and 2 friends, We had an amazing meal, Not a huge menu which to me is perfect,there was plenty to choose from but not too much to confuse a person. The meal was out standing, not one down fall at all, each plate was as I expected with a little added twist, making the meal stand out from any meal I have had in a very long time !! The wine choice was very good. The surrounding views are beautiful and serene, subtle music and low lights, just perfectThe staff were extremely efficient, polite and well presented. Totally out standing ! An amazing night I will remember for a long time (But please make sure you take mosquito repellent if seated outside, I have more than enough bites to remind me of the evening)

Ate here with friends and although the restaurant is attractive, the food excellent quality albeit iin small portions and the service prompt there was absolutely no warmth on the part of the staff. We were given the impression they were doing us a favour by serving us. For a restaurant this expensive in a small town like Varese clients should feel more welcome.

The only thing better than the freshness of the ingredients and the flavor of the dishes is the enthusiasm and welcoming attitude of the host! That was a true pleasure and the branzino al sale was the best I've ever had. A 'go-to' place every time we are in Varese!!! Thank you for the amazing experience

I was the first time in this Restaurant, that's very nice. All was very good and I can't tell something about the price, because i was invited based on a business dinner.But what I can say is that the waiter has room for improvement as follows:He was very exerted to explain me all the food in English. That was very good.But there were served a lot of food we didn't have odered (but without to pay additional, which was naturally OK) and he didn't ask me if i like it or not. I refer herewith on the 3 crabs and the oysters and it was not possible for me to eat them. Maybe good but too strange for me to eat.From this Point of time he ignored me deliberatly regarding to top up my glasses (wine and water) and that is in fact an effrontery.The 3 Points instead of 5 is only because of this situation.

Enjoyed a lovely business lunch with fresh truffles on a lovely steak tartare starter and just perfect risotto. Beware the dessert trolley - you will find it very hard to resist. Very good wine list. Would love to visit in Spring/summer as the garden looked amazing.

If you are looking for a special setting, plenty of charm, with many candles lights to surround you while having a good dinner, with a beautiful view, in an old and beautiful house, you might want to come here. Owner and staff very friendly will do everything to welcome you and improve your stay, as they did with us. Highly recommended

If you are travelling near Milan, you can easily find this restraunt. The choice of plates is not so big, but the speciality of this place is risotto. You can try tris of risotti, or choose only one. I have tried risotto with porcini mushrooms, it was good, but i did not like that they added the oil with taste of truffel. It gives to risotto a different taste. The rest of food is good, company style. The plates are enormous.
