Consigliati dal personale del nostro hotel, dopo la passeggiata nel sentiero tematico per vedere le Piramidi di Terra da vicino siamo andati a pranzo al Moarhof. Non c'era nessuno e la signora sembrava un po' "rustica" ... poi man mano che siamo rimasti lì si è sciolta ed è diventata più accogliente. Abbiamo mangiato bene, nei tavoli all'aperto e il bimbo ha giocato col trattore e la sabbiera in piena libertà . Man mano è arrivata anche altra gente che sembrava poi soddisfatta del pranzo. In sintesi: un buon posto per un pranzo post passeggiata. ps: La signora ha detto che stanno pensando di attrezzarsi con fasciatoio.

Our party of seven, was accommodated quickly and efficiently. All ordered different dishes, all were very good and the portions were good size. Service was friendly and quick. Location is on the main street up two or three blocks from the park. There is an outside area if inside is too crowded. The payment process is unique. Go to the cashier and tell her what you had, each couple did the same, then you can either give her a tip or leave something on the table. It all seemed to be on your honesty as to what you ordered, interesting. Food very good, service very good, we were not rushed to eat and get out. Definitely a place to consider if in Bolzano.

We ate here on the recommendation of our AirBnB host and we werenât disappointed! We all had pizza (lots to choose from) and we were pleased to see a kids option for â¬5 which was a huge improvement on our recent experience in Venice! The piazza is lovely in the early evening. The tiramisu was also excellent! Our meal cost â¬63 for 2 adult pizzas, one childrenâs pizza, a Fanta, a beer, an Aperol Spritz and three tiramisus.

We booked for the Christmas Eve dinner, a set menu, and were asked to arrive at 7pm. The first course didnât arrive until 8.10, then two more courses in quick succession, then a half hour wait, then another course hot on its heels. Currently debating whether to stay for the final two courses. People all around us are looking pissed off, as are we. Itâs a disgrace.Dear Travellingpantaloni,Thank you very much for your feedback. It is very important to us to know our guests opinion in order to improve our services.We regret that you didnât like the dinner. Probably there was a misunderstanding about the starting time of the dinner. We arranged the aperitif in our foyer on the 1st floor at 7pm as a get together, in order to serve all the guests at the same time during dinner. Great experience.Food is just excellent, wine list is way beyond your imagination.Price is incredibly fair.I donât see how someone can complain because doesnât receive chips at 20:30 when you suppose to have dinner.Unfortunately we are surrounded by customers that should go to Macdonald and leave gastronomy to someone else.When you work in the business you can spot idiot customers from a review.If you want to have a great experience in Bolzano and really enjoy your time with an extensive and extraordinary wine list, this is definitely the place to be.The staff is super professional, knowledgeable, very kind and all of them knows what to do.If you miss this restaurant you really miss something.Thank you very much for the amazing dinner.

We were glad that we followed the other reviewers and stopped for dinner here. It was just what we were looking for: casual, inexpensive, and quite tasty. The roasted meat (I can not remember which "bratten" it was) and potatoes were excellent; tender meat, full flavored sauce, and plenty of thin sliced roasted potatoes. The turkey salad was tasty too; large portioned. With a bottle of water the bill totaled 27â¬; plenty of good food for the money. We did our best to navigate the Italian/German menu; an English speaking waiter was most helpful.

We stopped here for lunch after a walk around Renon. Food was okay, nothing special. The service was excellent and friendly. The Weiner Schnitzel was dry and came with very few potatoes. Seemed a bit impoverished. The ravioli was too oily. I would go back here because it was certainly not a disaster but for Italy the food was marginal.

i visited patscheider hof for lunch with my son. it is a beatuful old house on the mountains and as a fantastic view. very simple decoration but the point here is service and food. we ordered tirol plate (local cured meat and cheese), tagliatelle with venison ragu, a local meal caled gröstl and wiener schnitzel. they have their own vineyards and as a result their own wine, which served with the meal. everything were delicious and wine tasted light but ok with the food. schnitzel was extraordinary good. i tasted once or twice in my life such a soft and juicy meat at schnitzel. so, if you plan to drive to the mountains i strongly recommend to stop here for lunch.

The food was not great - a salad tasted like it had been made from tinned tuna rather than fresh food. Service was very slow and then the waiter arrived with the wrong number of drinks. Its a beautiful building with frescoes on the outside, well located near the market but avoid.
