It covers the tambon Tha Pradu and Pak Nam and parts of tambon Choeng Noen and Noen Phra, all within Mueang Rayong district. As of 2016 the population was 64,256 (Est.). The main industry is fishing, and it is the main producer of Thailand's fish sauce. It is also the center of the chemical and auto industries. In 2012 Ford Motor Company opened an assembly plant in Rayong to expand Ford's presence in the ASEAN area, employing some 2,200 people.

Orchard Restaurant is one of two in-house restaurants at Kameo Grand Hotel in the heart of Rayong.It is here that the hotel offers one of the most extensive breakfast spreads I have seen in a hotel anywhere. Breads and pastries, fruit and fruit juices, Western and Asian foods, smoked salmon, a cheese board, and a station where eggs are cooked to order.But it also serves lunch and dinner, offering a mixture of international, Thai and Japanese dishes.I enjoyed a light lunch of delightfully fresh sashimi, consisting of salmon, tuna and saba, with a wasabi and soy dipping sauce.Staff are professional, attentive and welcoming.Thank you for your very kind words on your meals at the Orchard Restaurant at Kameo Grand Hotel, Rayong. Santa Fe Steak is a Thai restaurant chain usually located in shopping malls and supermarket complexes. The restaurants provide a quick and cost-effective lunch while you do the weekly shopping or supermarketing.Sante Fe offers various beef steaks, pork steaks, chicken steaks, and fish, usually served with chips and salad.I had the Chicken Steak in Spicy Sauce, which at Baht 79 was a steal.

We have visited SaiFaa many times (during many years)and never been disappointed. The food is always fresh and well made. You sitt outdoors with the river and enjoy your mael. The stab always kindly (smile). And the best of all Irishcoffee made of Willi. I will recommend SaiFaa. You don't be disappoint. We will visit restaurang the next time.

Our primary aim was to have some draught beer instead of singha and leo. The beer was very good but we were let down by our average German food - snitzel; bratwurst along with potato salad and fries. Maybe just have beer next time if we return?

California Steak is the premier roof top restaurant at Kameo Grand Hotel, right in the center of Rayong.Tonight it offered a buffet dinner at Baht 650 a head. It was well worth it.The offerings included an extensive salad bar, various pizzas, a carvery with roast legs of lamp and baked ham, and a barbecue, with salmon, tuna, prawns, other seafood, and steaks cooked to order.There was an extensive array of vegetables, including roast potatoes, spinach, corn and peas.To cap it off there was a mouth-watering table of cakes, trifles, pastries, tarts, and a cheese board.Washed down with a bottle of Australian Penfold's Shiraz, it was a memorable meal.Thank you for taking the trouble to write to us about your dining experience at the California Steak. We are very pleased that we were able to meet your wishes for a most fulfilling dinner and we will pass on your compliments to our Chef and his team. I had heard that the fish and chips were excellent. Perhaps they were having a bad day. The restaurant was clean and staff was courteous. My fish was about 1/4 inch thick, with drastically overcooked breading and very greasy. Accompanied with Makro frozen fries left me unimpressed. I'll give another dish a try next trip. Hopefully it will be better.

Visited here had heard mixed reports about this place. However have to say enjoyed our meal here. Had pepperoni pizza with French fries and a big Chang beer. It was really good and tasty. Service was very good. 500 baht bill. Pizza was same price as Europe. Overall good experience would return. Thank you for your review, sorry the prices are a little high on the pizza, but we use imported flour from Italy and a special tomato from Italy for the topping sauce. Hope to see you again

Our experience at Elementi Rooftop Grill and Bar for dinner last night could be summed up in two phrases: Sky high dining at sky high prices.Don't get me wrong, I am not a cheapskate, and was happy to pay the price for the prime quality Argentine and New Zealand steaks that my friend and I enjoyed last night.But I consider other prices were over the top, in particular THB 800 for a paltry cheese platter containing small pieces of a few very pedestrian cheeses.And many of the wines that I recognized were marked up more than 100 percent on their retail prices.That aside, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner sitting on the rooftop of the highest building in Rayong, commanding views right up and down the coast of the Gulf of Thailand, and back to the rural heartland.The restaurant is smartly fitted, and the waitress who attended us was highly professional and attentive, without being intrusive.Dear David B,First of all, we would like to thank you very much for choosing to dine with us during your recent stay in Rayong. It been a great pleasure to hear that you received a good service from our professional team at the restaurant. However, your point on pricing of food and beverage has also been noted for our further consideration and revision.
