Another spot I am since childhood everytime we are in the area. Food is good. The view is amazing and you can enjoy sitting outside after hiking, biking or simply let the kids run around!

Der Buschenschank âBittnerhofâ liegt inmitten von Obstwiesen; von der Terrasse hat man einen schönen Weitblick. Der freundliche Wirt bietet saisonale Südtiroler Spezialitäten zu sehr fairen Preisen an, einen guten Wein und in der Saison auch Ãpfel vom Hof. FuÌr die Kinder gibt es viel Platz zum Spielen. Montag, Dienstag und Mittwoch ist der Bittnerhof geschlossen; da wird in der Landwirtschaft gearbeitet.

On route to our next hotel (we were on cycling holiday) we had been cycling all morning and were ready for a break. Kathi's was our stop, what a welcome stop it was. This is a family run business, the restaurant is nestled in a delightful garden and the seating is under a canopy of vines. The service was excellent and the food wholesome and freshly prepared.Excellent value for money and well worth a stop. Please note however that they do not accept credit cards, only cash.

We discovered this place on a small wine and culture trip. One of the members of our group comes here for years. And we discovered the execptionnal welcome of this very typical place of Alta Adige. We are in Italy and everybody speaks German. The quelity of the rooms and of the food is excellent . It is the place where you want to go to have an exceptional "souvenir".far from nowhere and in the center of everything. Stay if you can THree or four days it is even better.

Wir waren zu Zweit hier zum Mittagessen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Lage ist toll und der Aussenbereich des Restaurants wirklich sehr gemütlich. Wir werden gerne wieder einmal hier hin kommen.

Two sisters run this restaurant which has been in the family for 25 years and resides in a castle built 400 years ago. The food was so fresh with all local produce, meat and baked goods. The foods were prepared and presented beautifully!A local grass fed steak with potatoes and a large salad was 15 Euros : ) Elfie (one of the sisters) waited on us and spoke excellent English. The menu was also translated into English. She was warm and friendly and brought out an array of homemade local Schnaps (not like USA Schnaps!) and liquors. We tasted a few and then chose our after dinner drink. I had raspberry liquor which tasted like fresh raspberries, everything was made with whole fresh ingredients!!

A restaurant that has great food, good prices, and has very a kind and friendly ambiance. The ratio quality/price is exceptionally good. Very recommended!

The food was not great - a salad tasted like it had been made from tinned tuna rather than fresh food. Service was very slow and then the waiter arrived with the wrong number of drinks. Its a beautiful building with frescoes on the outside, well located near the market but avoid.
