Driving through Alto Adige, you come across this wonderful brewery and beergarden. The inside of the bar/restaurant is typically German, with waitstaff dressed in horsetrading and dirndls. The beer is good and the Bavarian-style German food, excellent. The surrounding mountains and nature are awsome, so be prepared for a great stop.

It's the second time I have the plesure to spend some holidays in Meran and after 5 years I didn't wait to go again to this fantastic typical restaurant close to Meran.It is a pleasure to stay outside with a stunning view of the mountains and inside because it is very very characteristic with its walls made with real stones and everything so nice and warm.The food is very good at reasonable prices ( I recommend the mix of grilled meat and the Canederli of course with a good Weizen beer) and the staff very kind (new management since few months here).So don't hesitate to go of you want something authentic!!Dear guest,thank you for sharing your positive experience with TripAdvisor. A very small but cosy place, that you should visit for sure! The only problem was the prices for the wines, even there were local ones, it was just too high (30 euros for a bottle), the houseâ wine was not the best at all, but thanks to the yummy food everything was ok at the end!

Sissi is an amazing restaurant in the heart of Bolzano. The cuisine is traditional Italian dishes with some interesting interpretation. The chef himself, Andrea Fenoglio, is in the restaurant all the time, talking to guests and giving advice, which gives it a very pleasant atmosphere. I definitely recommend it!

Seemingly hundreds of people sinking vast amounts of Forst beer from across the road to accompany the good plain Tirolean food. It's dusty, it's noisy and no place to wear your best clothes but great fun especially when there is live music

This place is high up at the end of a serpentine road. A fun way to get above it all and have a splendid view out over miles of receding mountains, the merano valley and the town. But the place is also about a superb menu with varied choices that were prepared to our great satisfaction. Very nice all around. The restaurant is run by two brothers, one the chef and the other the greeter, waiter and general host. Super nice. Not quite sure how this place draws customers as it is, to say the least, out of the way. But it's well worth the experience . It's a little expensive but not that much so considering the complete experience.

We were here already in the afternoon with the whole family for a small bite with some wine and ham, in the evening we returned for dinner. Restaurant, next to our hotel in the wine mountains has a nice terrace with impressive view to Lagund und Merano. Food was nice, pasta and meat, with Italian and Austrian influence. Good wine card with mostly regional wines from local grapes. Staff was friendly and efficient. Prices were okay for what they offer.

We went to this restaurant with my husband's elderly parents and they were delighted. There were also many young people eating there.The food was presented so well and originally and tasted fantastic. They bake fresh bread samples that they supply with the meals, and we had a salad and little entre taster as a " gift from the kitchen"! The staff were very attentive and friendly. It was not cheap, but also not outrageously expensive. Quite a homely atmosphere where you can feel pretty comfortable.

The restaurant is situated on top of a mountain. The view in front is marvelous. The interior is very nice too. The restaurant serves local cuisine. I have been there several times and have never been disappointed. The service is very friendly and efficient too. I am quite often in this region. Beside the luferkeller in riffian this is my favorite place around Meran.

A beautifully restored restaurant with quality furnishings. Not a very large menu but most dishes were of good quality and size. Excellent friendly and attentive service.
