This unpretentious, family-run trattoria specialises in locally sourced food, served unfussily with respect for the quality of the ingredients. Much of it is the characteristic cucina of the Lazio hill country â hearty pasta and meat dishes, incomparable salumi â but there is also fresh fish from the lake. The wine is good and inexpensive, and the atmosphere relaxed. The husband-and-wife team who run it are genuine and friendly. There was absolutely nothing fancy about the lunch we had here but it was one of the standout meals of our year.

sono stata in un giorno feriale a pranzo con 15 euro antipasto, primo, acqua, pasta vino, caffe'. Tutto abbondante ed anche buono. In zona centrale per una passeggiata al paese, locale accogliente.

Personale che è meglio non parlarne.. il posto è carino però non è tenuto benissimo. La gastronomia non mi sembra fatta lì sul posto. Non ci ritornerò.

Interesting little cafe, specialising in air dried cured meats. Plenty of choice and inexpensive.Lovely waitresses who spoke English to help me when my Italian faltered.This is the small sharing platter.Do not miss the place if you're in Viterbo.
