Where to eat Czech food in Wroclaw: The Best Restaurants and Bars

September 25, 2019 Emerita Lamoureux

Reviews on Czech food in Wroclaw, Lower Silesia Province, Poland. Surprisingly (except to Poles) pronounced VRAHTS-wahv, Wroclaw is Poland’s fourth-largest city and the capital of the Viovodship of Lower Silesia. Originally (in medieval times) built across several islands, the city still has many lovely bridges and beautiful architecture. Not far from the German border in the country’s southeast, Wroclaw gets lots of German tourists, who call it Breslau. The Rynek (central square), lined by colorful buildings, is one of the city’s most popular destinations.

Bernard Pub- Restaurant

BERNARD PUB-RESTAURANT is the only place with such a good atmosphere in the heart of Wroclaw' s Town Square. It is a restaurant with a wide variety of beer, offering a great selection of European cuisine, with Czech cuisine taking a special place. Bernard

Visited this pub/restaurant to meet family/ friends and wow - what a lovely place to eat or just sit, have a glass of wine and watch the world go by. This is a super place, it is a little pricey in comparison to other places around there but it is well worth the visit. The food was fabulous with a fairly extensive menu to suit all tastes. We then sat and had a glass of wine and a craft beer made by this bar itself. All we had was just fabulous. The young waiter was superb with an extensive knowledge of all on offer both food and wine and made excellent recommendations. We sat and watched the world go by which was educational. Only drawback to this was a 'strip club' located very close which we saw was putting pressure on passing gentlemen to enter, we were wondering what the attraction was for all the hordes of men entering and were honestly informed by the staff. However, this has nothing to do with this beautiful restaurant/bar and is simply located very close by. We thoroughly enjoyed this place and would highly recommend.

Well disappointed!! Got charged 10% extra (added to the bill) only because we booked table for 10+ people...feel like being punished...if we sat to two separate tables we wouldn't get charged...and there was no explanation at all...informed by manager that "no matter what we will say, we still get charged"... will never go there again...not recommended...

Close to Sofitel, and I'm a big fan of Czech food - reason why.Establishment - you can eat inside, but cant smoke, so we chose outside.Cars will be speeding outside your chair, bit risky. Time to time you will witness a blond women trying to park her Merc (I 'm not sexist )... it was both, an experience and fun....staff - as for Poland, I liked it, no nonsense, food delivered, polite, common, no issues.food - garlic soup, delicious.our choice - knedliczki with pork - as my guest said, cook was in love, so I had the most salty experience ever. My mum loves my dad, and dinners are salty, but not that much, c'mon!Saltiness of the dishes, forced me to drink Czech beer, thats always a good experience.Place worth visiting, for epic garlic soup & beer. Avoid Salt;)
