Its a nice place with good food and nice service.. Not that happening except on sunday's. You have live bands playing 4pm till the cafe closes. For rest of the days its just an ordinary cafe but highly recommended on Sunday afternoon/evenings

Visited my cousins in SA a few years back and they took me and my mum here. Service was a bit slow and it was crowded, but when we got that food boy did it hit. Definitely try it out if you're a sensible person and don't eat McDonald's, lol. It is a bit pricey as I recall tho, so make sure you watch your tab when ordering.Well, the customer is always right, and in this case, we'd have to say you're clearly an expert on good food! As we entered Piccolo Mondo, we were welcomed by almost every front line staff member. So nice to see so many happy staff member at 6:30am. We loved the variety of food on display for breakfast buffet. They have fresh fruit, cereals with yoghurts, juices, tea or coffees, cold meats, cheeses, Asian food, cooked breakfast. We really enjoyed the menu, electronic and lots of exotic options to choose from (maybe add some more pictures to menu).We had great fun experimenting with the cocktail mixes and juices. We ordered lots of the starters and they came professionally on a platter. The food was very tasty and had some delicious flavours. Reubenâs is in a really nice location, at the Capital Moloko. It has a lovely outside feel, and is therefore a good choice for lunch. Unfortunately there was a problem with the pool, so we had contractors marching up and down past our table. I wonder why the problem couldnât have been seen to before the lunch rush.Our meals (pork belly and chicken curry) were tasty and very well presented. The crackling on the pork belly was especially lovely.I think that the menu is very pricey. The pork belly main was almost R200 and the price of a 200g steak is almost R300.It was nice enough to go once, but at the price, there are a lot more competitive options available in Sandton.

A friend and I had lunch at Café del Sol. Being winter, we chose to be seated inside. We thought we had decided on our food choice when the waiter took us through the specials of the day - we both changed our minds and ordered the bacon and brie fillet. Wow, it was superb - tender meat under baked brie and surrounded by crispy bacon - a feast of tastes! Beware the toilet facilities! They literally stink, being shared with two brewery style pubs on the same property, the toilets are horrendous. Apart from that... great burgers and a hot spicy ribs starter to die for. Great craft beers too... just donât drink enough to have to use the loo! Honestly, it puts me off going back... which is a real shame. I did complain to the manager who kinda grimaced and said âitâs a problemâ. It is for them... This place promotes itself as a premium restaurant. Don't be fooled by the fake advertising. Its noisy and overpriced. We went for an evening with business partners. We could hardly talk to each other as the noise level in the restaurant as determined by a Cell noise level app was 86 decibels. That's like sitting by a very noisy road.The food was very average. My T-Bone stake was nothing more than a Rump with bone on two sides. Roast potatoes were soggy and the puree completely missing. All this for R350.00!! Rip off. When I complained to the floor manager he simply did not comprehend that a T-Bone stake should have meat on both sides of the T.The cutlery on the tables was basic canteen standard. I would have had a better experience at a franchise restaurant at a third of the price.
