Due recommandation of our host we visited Liliesleaf Farm on our last day of our 2nd roundtrip through SA. The premisis is well maintained and the exhibit is very interesting. A short movie tells you the story & history of the farm. After visiting we learned more about SA history again. Things we did not know before or were not aware they ever happened. Pitty time went too short, we had to leave for the airport.

The Bryanston Organic and Natural Market

This market has been going for years which is testament to its popularity. The roofed stalls are gathered around a courtyard which also has other clusters of stalls. The atmosphere is intimate & friendly. There is an emphasis on organic & natural produce, including artisanal cheeses, grass fed meat, teas, coffee, herbs, cosmetics, salt products, vegetables, & so on. There are stalls selling handicrafts, African wares, wooden bowls, baskets, bags, books & leather ware. The shear number of stalls & variety of goods on sale ensures an engrossing experience which can extend over a couple of hours, especially if you round off your visit with a meal at one of the food outlets. Great for families, groups or couples.

PWC Cycle Park did everything to make my sons birthday special. The gent that cycled the children around was fabulous to the service area to help with removing and putting on staberlisers. The braai area was perfect for the parents to hang out and the medical tent was fantastic to help the children with the scraps and bruisers that are gauranteed when cycling around.

Reviewed By Queline2014 - Johannesburg, South Africa

I was invited by my friend (one of the art teachers at Cocktails and Canvas) to attend a painting session. I was nervous at first, being a complete amateur not having painted anything previously, true story! So off we went on our artistic adventure, and it was great as it is not too far to travel. What a pleasure to be received by warm professional people and a teacher who made me feel relaxed and confident about not having any previous experience. Being a mom, it was quite delicious to have a few hours of ‘me time’ and not having to focus on anything besides colours and brush strokes. The class moved at a steady pace (but not rushed) which ensured that I would leave with my very own ‘work of art’. Good night out, would definitely do it again with a group of gals. Thanks Cocktails and Canvas
