Got a warm friendly welcome and indeed the staff were excellent throughout.Limited menu but what we ordered was cooked or prepared and presented beautifully.Good choice of wines - many by the glass.Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and all felt it was good value for money.Book ahead- it is a small restaurant.£10 each way for taxi from centre of Dundee.Some good bars nearby to round off your evening.

What a fantastic meal. All five of us had a very enjoyable evening here. Every course was delicious and beautifully presented. The wines we had were good and reasonably priced. Thoroughly delightful from start to finish. All 4 opted for the 6 course tasting menu but asked to substitute the oyster dish with something else - absolutely no trouble at all. Every course was beautifully prepared and presented and the wines that were paired with each were also superb. Canât speak highly enough about the staff and the quality of the food. Weâll definitely return.

Delighted to report that after the name change from Encore, what was always informally referred to (at least by us) as The Rep Restaurant, is as good as ever. Thoughtful menu, staff that make sure you can enjoy (at least) a couple of courses and coffee in time to take your seat for showtime, and well-chosen wines. And it's bright, buzzy and good value, too.
