We were struggling to find somewhere local to eat. We came to the Jade Buddha. The food here is very good and even my wife said its the best Chinese she has eaten at. The staff are very friendly, the food was hot and came quick.

Lovely staff and lots of character. Mostly filled with workers and tradesmen after clocking off at 3 on a Friday. Expect it has a lively atmosphere at times, but has that "struggling" look about it. Toilets functional. Hope it survives.

First visit to this restaurant and definitely will be the last. Very limited choice of wine by the glass and although the menu listed a vast choice of dishes the first two main dishes that we ordered were unavailable. The appetisers were ordered and we were told that the prawn dumplings would take 15 minutes to prepare. The other appetiser arrived after about 20 minutes so we had to eat it before it went cold. The dumplings eventually arrived after nearly 50 minutes. It was then that we asked to see the manager, he was rude and all that he did was to make feeble excuses for the problems so we asked for the bill to cover what we had already received, paid and left.A totally awful experience so if you are thinking of visiting this restaurant think twice before avoiding.
