Visited on Friday evening following recommendation. Looks like a take away from outside and not the most attractive looking place but the food was lovely and the staff were so friendly and helpful.Highly recommended and glad it was recommended to us. We will return next time we are visiting.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance,after asking for recommendations at a nearby fish shop. From the outside it looks like a pub, which in all tense and purposes it is "Ship Inn" but attached is Rose Garden. Lovely meal very friendly staff and portions sizes very good. A definite if in the area and only a few hundred yards from the main street area of Dalbeattie

Came for dinner on a Friday night. Inside the restaurant is very dated but don't let this put you off. The food was all lovely especially the seaweed and crispy duck! Would definitely return.
