We came here on a Wednesday evening as our local chinese was closed for refurb. Wow. What a place Firstly - the service was perfect - attentive polite and prompt Secondly the food was amazing - had one of the banquets - loads of food but all of excellent quality. It was easy to spot tge usd of decent chicken beef and prawns in their dishes. Peking duck was also spot on.Lastly the atmosphere was fab - buzzy and upbeat but not too loud or manic. Will definitely be using it in future

We went back for our 2nd time after being impressed by our first time there. Menu change with less options but the choices were still variedWe started simply with assorted fresh, warm bread with butter & a dish of olives. For my main meal I chose pan fried salmon, mussels on samphire, new potatoes. Amazing tastes within the meal. Hubby had the glazed belly pork on mash with spinach & gravy & he loved it. Portion sizes were good. We didn’t have dessert as we’d eaten enough but next time I will be having dessert & no starters! Definitely recommend Hi Meggsy54, we are very happy to have provided you with such a positive experience and we're glad to hear you enjoyed your visit. We hope to be of service to you again in the future. Best wishes, Mihai DeftaAssistant Manager

For our party of ten guests The Leigh House experience falls into 'Best Restaurant' category. This was my first experience here, but others in our party are regulars and it is easy to see why. Wai Kee was keen to make recommendations from his menu, and for a large group this made the ordering process easy and uncomplicated. From the moment the dishes stared to arrive we could see and taste the high quality of food on offer, highlights being the battered prawns, duck. chicken and fish dishes. Service from experienced staff was faultlessly attentive and Wai Kee himself moved seamlessly between our table, other guests, and the kitchen making sure that everything was satisfactory. When in the area again we shall be beating a path to the door to experience this kind of hospitality once again.
