I took my family to DD's for breakfast today. 4 Adults & 3 kiddies. We were warmly welcomed by the very friendly staff. 2 of the adults had All Day Breakfasts with extras of black pudding, mushrooms, hash browns & DD's home made bubble & squeak. 1 adult had an cheese & ham omelette meal, which came wonderful crinkle chips. 1 adult had sausage & mash with onions & gravy. The kiddies had 1 burger & chips, 1 Nutella on toast & 1 bacon sandwich. All were served quickly & the hot food was served on hot plates which was a nice surprise. The food was exceptionally good & I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone who asked. A gem not to be missed.
I've got the builders in and we regularly go into the High Street looking for the best breakfast (they've been in 12 weeks) and we've only just tried this one.In my opinion it's the best of the lot, the breakfasts are cooked to order and they'll cook the bacon and sausages a bit longer on request and it's also reasonably priced.Service is friendly and the other food is also good - jacket potatoes, chilli etc but I have to knock a mark off for the coffee - the cafe offers Brazilian food as well and if Brazilians can't get coffee right, there's an issue that needs resolving.Definitely worth a try though.

We stopped for elevenses whilst driving through and a passer by recommended this cafe. They had a nice choice of cakes. Bit disappointed that they only had milk for the coffees though. Seemed a small place but later realised they had seating downstairs. Service was good, cakes lovely. Toilets extremely clean. Would recommend

The place to eat, drink, work and play in Old Stevenage. Our menu spans brunch, lunch, dinner + cocktails
My boyfriend & i went for brunch with another couple.Thank god we booked a table, the place was buzzing...which leads me on nicely to the fact the waiter saved me from a wasp, I will be forever grateful.I had the chorizo hash, it was delicious and there was plenty of other things to choose from and everything was reasonably priced.Looking to go back at xmas for another get together.

I don't often find reasons to stop off in the Broadwater area of Stevenage but passing by one Saturday morning with a pressing need for a cuppa the Four Seasons beckoned.Such a big smile and a warm welcome, plenty of tables already occupied by people tucking in to every possible combination of fry up, and multiple copies of the Sun and Mirror if you like to have a tabloid to check out as you chomp. The menu is definitely British breakfast plus, so nothing that would cause you to raise an eyebrow in intrigued surprise, though you can venture towards a panini or a muffin if you like, and our bacon roll had plenty of rashers in a nice crusty tiger-style container. Nice big mug of tea, very acceptable americano with hot milk served in a little cow jug - there's fancy. The cheery atmosphere of a busy community cafe was what struck us - we might rarely have a reason to return, but if we're in the area we won't need much of an excuse to pop back.Thank you for your articulate review , really enjoyable reading, we strive to be the best at what we do and a comfortable, relaxed welcoming atmosphere is very important to me and my wife Joanne. Thanks again Tony & Joanne

What a wonderful place to visit. The atmosphere, the people, the food ... a truly immersive experience. The gift shop also adds to the charm. Heartwarming to see their commitment to the community and also the support of the local people to this business. A must visit if you are looking for a countryside drive with an inspiring ending. Great owners and friendly/helpful staff. What a lovely review, thanks so much. You have managed to summarise everything we set out to achieve: this means a lot to all the team here. Nigel
