Went here on the 4/10 before going to theatre had an amazing meal. Beautifully cooked and served by polite waitresses. I had roast beef which just melted in the mouth the selection of veg was served on a separate plate and there was plenty best meal out in weeks. Definitely going back other meals that were coming from the kitchen looked amazing too.

The Coffee Pot is a (breakfast) coffee house in central Blackpool. You can get the usual selection of British breakfast options, decent enough coffee, but also meals usually identified as "mains". I had the Full English, which - at UKP 5.75 - did not include either a grilled tomato or a flat mushroom. The latter are only available as part of the more expensive large breakfast. I think that for almost six quid they should be part of the standard Full English. That said, every single one of the components was slightly higher in quality than what comes with the cheap Full English at JD Wetherspoon's, The décor is very matter of fact, but clean. It certainly doesn't invite you to linger. Just a place to stop for a quick coffee or snack.

What's in a name? Well, you have to admit that Truly Scrumptious conjures up images of lace curtains and gingham table cloths. So a revamp was the order of the day - and certainly something was required to sole the condensation problems which previously mean everyday looked foggy! Now it's far more modern - widows which will open into the Mews on a good day and a much lighter feel to the place - both on the ground floor and upstairs too.Food is prepared to order so there's usually a bit if a wait but it's worth it. The coffee is very good. We usually opt for the bacon or fried egg barms and have never been disappointed. So it's a new (shorter) name - just Truly (with Kitchens and Tea Rooms added to its business cards) - but the same staff and the same service.

We try to come to this little gem as much as we can as the food is just amazing. With owning our own restaurant, we are very picky about where we choose to eat when dining out, but we are never disappointed in both quality of ingredients and taste combinations. You just can’t fault it. My husband had the American Olympic breakfast and I had a club sandwich with baconnaise fries. Absolutely delicious!!

we visited here for breakfast one day while we were on a 3 day trip to blackpool. we arrived no problem and got a table, only 2 other tables were there. A young blonde girl in her late teens/early twenties served us. we ordered a normal breakfast and one vegetarian breakfast. i asked in the vegetarian breakfast to swap the mushrooms for fried bread, we also ordered a hot chocolate and one tea. 2mins later the waitress came back and asked what we wanted to swap again so again i explained it to her and she just said okay. when my hot chocolate arrived it came in a normal mug (not even a cup) with chocolate and cream running all down the sides but i just left it and didnt say anything, it wasnt even boiling hot if im honest. when our breakfasts arrived straight away i was given the wrong breakfast. i received mushrooms instead of fried bread. It was the kitchen person who served the breakfasts so i explained to her that i had told the waitress twice i wanted to swap the mushrooms for fried bread and she had the cheek to ask "should i remove the mushrooms from the plate?" well obviously when you have given me the wrong breakfast of what i asked for especially when i told the waitress TWICE, its not like it was even complicated, it was only swapping one item for another. i can only imagine how many mistakes that waitress does when its busy and the orders are alot more complicated. Anyways the RIGHT breakfast finally arrived. The breakfasts were okay but the veg sausages were bought in linda mccartney sausages, the hash browns were mccains and a can of tinned tomatoes (the tomatoes werent even fresh) so the breakfast basically cost the owner about £1-£1.50 to make if im honest, nothing was homemade at all. my faince's breakfast he said the sausage was really bland and had no taste at all and it was the same with the bacon. Another thing i will add is while we were eating our breakfasts another table came in and three of them ordered hot chocolate, all of them received there hot chocolates in fancy cups with a saucer and no spillages at all so why didnt i receive the same. A VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE AND I CERTAINLY WOULDNT GO BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!First of all we do take notice of all comments. All meals served with free range eggs best back bacon. sausages of the local butcher and gluten free hash browns not mccains? Tomatoes are tinned, as requested by the majority of our customers, fresh can be provided if required. The young lady(age 15) who served has only just started at the café and as with us all we all take a little time to feel our feet, so I can understand there could have been some confusion, we invest in new employees We sell two Hot Chocolate drinks, standard and deluxe. Standard come in a mug and deluxe is served in a cup and saucer. We have a number of very happy customers, read the reviews. Our aim is quality, value and friendly service always.

I would like to say that the place is clean but definatly not the best value or relaxing of cafe’s.I have been many times and depending on time of day and the staff, this is what reflects on the rating.Mornings are ok but busy lunchtimes, eapecially weekends and if there is a function on at Winter Gardens then sadly some staff let this place down with a rather flipant attitude if pointing out knives and forks were dirty.I will say this incident with the knives and forks was a one off but the lad changing them made it a drama and made us feel uncomfortable for asking them to be replaced. That said, with clean knives and forks changed, the food was adequate but again depending on the time of visit, there appears to be no consistance of portions or presentation which is a shame if going on a business meeting which was noted by myself and colleagues.Summing up- just average, not the best, not the worse.

Had made a list of few places we wanted to eat whilst visiting blackpool and this was one. We wanted to avoid the typical greasy chips or chain brands. Booked a table for Tuesday lunch and it was really busy. We were lucky it was sunny so we sat outside. Son had a picnic bench which he loved and weve never seen it served as nice before. Hubby had a club sandwich and i jad a chicken and sweet chilli jam panini and 2 cokes came to 19 quid. We all enjoyed it and our only comment would be the coleslaw is lovely a bigger portion would have been appreciated. It did take 15/20 min food to come we just chilled and enjoyed the sun ☀. A special mention for the very clean toilets . Would definitely recommend it. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a lovely review. We are glad you enjoyed your visit to Ziggy's. Our picnic benches are very popular with our younger customers and we are glad your son enjoyed his. We hope to see you again. Many thanks- Ziggy's

I arrived at lunch time and the cafe only had two tables free, as I had a pram I asked where would be best to sit as I didn’t want to be in the way.. the counter staff weren’t very helpful until I suggested I’d better come back another time. The table I was given was a pop up plastic table with a dirty cloth covering it, it was full of crumbs and the table was very off balance, which is not the best when sitting with a one year old at the table. I ordered the vegetable soup and sandwich, the soup was barely warm and didn’t taste of very much, my little one enjoyed it fortunately but I did not. One waitress in particular was very friendly and appeared to make an effort to speak to everybody, I didn’t catch her name but she had blonde hair in a pony tail and wore glasses. The other waitress and counter staff enjoyed friendly chat with the customers who appeared to be regulars but others were not really acknowledged. For example when waiting to place my order, the waitress walked past me two or three times to clear up or set other tables and only asked for my order once I asked if I could order. Overall the concept of the cafe seems nice but I think it’s a place for regulars really and doesn’t really have space for prams or wheelchairs.
