The community includes the small village Rachi. The Greek National Road 42 (Vasiliki - Lefkada (city) - Amfilochia) passes through the town. Nydri is a popular tourist town. In the sea in front of Nydri are several small islands including Madouri, Skorpios, Skorpidi and Sparti. The island Skorpios is the property of the Ribolovlev family.

My kids would say the best thing about this holiday were the Bubble Waffles!!! They are super tasty and the ice cream is outstanding!!! The ice tea is a must for tea lovers!

I just walked into the Elite with my wife, we haven't been here for 4 years but they greeted us like we were here only yesterday, remembered our names, asked about our daughter who was with us last time, they remembered everything, a really great and friendly place to go, the beer is ice cold and the crepes are second to none, great snack menu and a really wide range I'd ice creams. If you come to Nidri and don't visit the Elite you have missed out.

We regularly visit sail inn bar during the day. The sun beds and Parasols were free as long as you bought drinks. It did get busy at times so ensure you are there early if you want sun beds. The bar sells a range of drinks, coffee, soft drinks and alcoholic drink however they are more expensive than other bars. They also have food. The food isn't great but the portions are large!! There club sandwich could easily serve a family of 4 as a snack. Burgers were comfortably shared between two. We found some of the staff to be lovely, quick with service and very pleasant. However some of the bar staff were rude, on one occasion it took us around 40 minutes to receive our drink order. The waitress was walking up and down the beach and seemed clueless. Another time we had waited that long that I opened my own water and I was rudely asked to put it away. I wouldn't have minded but I was still waiting for my drink. The toilets are not the best. Small and cramped. The women's toilet has no light in and they smell. They are also at the back of the bar. Meaning you have to be dry before entering, not ideal when you are at the beach. Overall the beach is nice with amazing views. However service isn't the best, alcoholic drinks are expensive and the toilet facilities need to be improved.

An ideal position right on the waters edge and to the quieter end of the harbour. Enjoyed evening drinks here and also an English Breakfast (8 Euros) which was well presented and good quality. Staff friendly and a small swimming pool if you need to cool off.

Yet again we visited every day for breakfast . We were acknowledged as soon as we entered by the day time lady and Katrina or mrs spiros as we always called her lovely friendly quick service good choice of breakfasts nothing a problem if we asked for something not on the menu very good prices always so good you must try this place and we will be back absolutely thanks Katrina & omg canât think of mornings ladyâs name polish lady brilliant sorry no name thanks tho

Nice location, atmosphere and service. Good sweet crepes, mediocre to bad sour crepes. We found a hair in one of the crepes; the staff were very concerned, apologetic and immediately refunded the affected product's price. Great response! Hopefully it was a one time incident.

A warm welcome from George who runs this place as well as serving a nice Alpha, you have a varied menu of cocktails served with flair and imagination, complimentary Champagne was very nice. As well as the usual crisps / nibbles that are served with the drinks they also serve dishes of fresh fruit. Comfortable seating right on the harbour front making it an ideal bar to relax.

We discovered that in Nidri there is not a lot of choice when you are looking for a wheelchair accessible restaurant. Fishbone is one of the few and I'm so glad! We stopped here for lunch and the welcome was warm and accommodating. The waiter willingly helped my husband transfer from wheelchair to table.We chose fried zucchini to start and then the seafood plate for two people. The menu was extensive and offered fresh fish as well as meat and traditional Greek dishes. The food was outstanding and the portion very generous. We would come back here in a heart beat for the service, friendliness and quality of food.
