We have visited this restaurant 3 times during our 1st holiday to this beautiful country. The owners are very helpful and welcoming and accommodating. The view , food, choice and service are great!

We were several times in this place and we liked it a lot.You've got a nice view over the beach and the cristal clear sea. If you stay till late you there is a beautiful sunset in the bay.People are nice and the food is good.

This café/restaurant is located at a corner of the very attractive little Belavista Square in the heart of the old town of Herceg Novi. Twice, we had a very reasonably priced coffee relaxing after the long climb up from the seaside promenade, admiring the view and watching people and the local cats coming and going. There is a choice of sun or shade depending on how hot it is. They serve a variety of food and drink but we only had coffees.

This place sounds posher than it is in reality. It was okay but nothing special. Baklava was nice. My partner's cake was nothing special apparently. He actually wanted to order something different from the menu but the waiter had no idea what it was so he had to pick something from the counter. There are many better places nearby.

Situated at the crossroad between the two border crossing points between Montenegro and Croatia this Ethno restaurant provides fresh fish and sea food. The service is very fast and the variety of the dishes as well - first time I could order grilled squid on the dalmatian coast within a week! I need also to mention the price that is very affordable! Do mot skip this place if you are going from Kotor to Dubrovnik!

At the dodo restaurant in Herceg Novi harbor, by the sea, we were just because we have had a recommendation for their specific ice cream! And it is true! Very very lovely place, friendly staff and just a perfect ice cream.

Our first stop and first meal in Montenegro and came here because the restaurant was recommended by Lonely Planet. The food is not bad. The shrimp I ordered was fresh and the other dishes we ordered were ok. We were starving and were met with SUPER slow service. It must have taken 30 minutes and 5 requests to just get the menu, never mind the food. Still gave them 4 stars because of the fabulous view.Yes, as the last reviewer said, they don't speak English, but please remember you are not in an English speaking country. You wouldn't expect the servers in your country to speak Montenegrin.

We've had our lunches here for a whole week we stayed in Herceg Novi this September!The waiters and the lady manager/owner all are super friendly and welcoming.I appreciated good choice of healthy food for vegetarians, especially loved lentils soup. They also have borsch, couscous with vegetables, avocado salad and others.My husband loved grilled fish and fish soup.Hope to come back next year!
