We travelled during 2 months in Argentina trying all the Alfajores we could find on our way. Chalteños were THE BEST ones we found!!! We visited this lovely shop EVERY DAY while staying in El Chalten. We were TOTALLY ADDICTED to the Alfajores made fresh every day. There are several choices of flavour and the are all AMAZING!!The service is very friendly as well. DO NOT MISS this place, it's a great treat to have after the hard walks in the area!!!:-)

We booked in on the off chance after a long walk in to the Loma del Pliegue Tumbado. We had a couple of beers at lunch time and then decided to have an evening meal later that day.The meal and the service was fantastic, Juliette our waitress spoke perfect English and explained the various meal options in detail. She also recommended the wine to go with the steaks (Paz). It was all so good that we have rebooked for tomorrow evening.MikeDear Mike! Thank you very much for your comments. We had some Espresso and it was really good. Crema could be a little bit more thicker. But it is definitely the best coffee in El Chalten. Dudes and girls are super friendly. Big recommendation to hang around with a good coffee and listening to a nice tune while watching the Patagonian landscape.
