This is the 5th time visiting this place and Iâm in love! Good food and came within a few minutes of ordering, lovely staff and overall very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, will be returning regularly!

This is the second time I visit this place. The first time was ok, the tasty food and the staff was friendly. But the second time was exactly the opposite, a young lady who served us was very rude, talking to us as if we were the last men.We will never walk in that place again and we will be careful that our friends will not do it too !!!Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We're sorry that you didn't have a great experience at the cafe on your second visit. I personally served you and your friend on your first visit to us. I have spoken to the member of staff concerned on your second visit and maybe this is a case of a simple mis-understanding rather than rudeness. You had asked if we served alcohol at the cafe, and my waitress simply replied that no, we don't as we're a cafe.We're sorry that you felt that this implied any rudeness on our part as we are known for our great customer service, but please feel free to email me at [email protected]. Really nice cafe in a great location. Friendly, helpful staff and good food at very reasonable prices. We regularly train on the track next to the cafe in our racing wheelchairs and the staff are always very accommodating when we all roll in afterwards.

Ahimsa isn't the best laid out restaurant unfortunately so the tables for two on the left hand side are basically where people are queuing for their food so it's not the best place to end up having to sit.The service is slow - and some of the staff don't seem to realise that the point of them wearing gloves is for hygiene - putting on a pair of gloves, serving food with their hand and then taking money without taking the gloves off defeats that!Luckily, the food is tasty! I have visited several times and enjoyed the health bowl on each occasion - choosing a different hot portion each time. Depending on who is serving you dictates how much of each salad you get - sometimes I get literally three spinach leaves, other times I get a full portion, the same with the avocado - sometimes I play hunt the avocado in the bowl, other times it's a proper amount. the lentil dahl has been too runny lately - not enough lentils in it - so I'm not going to choose that again.If the restaurant was laid out better, the service was more efficient and the portion sizes were consistent, I would rate this place as excellent.

Stopped off today and we had a lovely visit. Sat inside as quite breezy but nice tables outside. Perfect if you have a dog. Food really lovely- took a little while to come but so fresh and delicious it was so well worth waiting. Lovely young girls all working so hard. Fantastic choice on menu and good pricing. The breakfast sandwich - egg and mushroom one of best ever - bread so fresh. Latte lovely too.Really nice setting - peaceful. Good free parking. Do visit

Amazing cafe. All the staff are so friendly and good at what they do. Very busy but efficiently managed. The food is high quality and delicious. There is literally nothing that this place could do to better itself in my opinion, it is just that good at what it does. Very highly recommend trying it out, you could not possibly regret it. I like this cafe, nice coffee, tasty cakes, lots of delicious Indian sweets and snacks. Good choice of ice cream for when itâs a bit warmer too.
