I've driven on the Rochdale to Edenfield road on many occasions when the local motorways are congested and in doing so you pass the signs directing you off the road towards this place, but I've never previously had the time to explore but yesterday I did. Why oh why didn't I take the time out before as it's fantastic. Be aware though that the journey from the main road to the retreat is on side roads that need some TLC. That said ,it's more than worth it, the views are stunning, lush green fields, waterfalls just fab. Everything about this place is just, the building,the service, the so much to choose from menu and not forgetting the window wall in the restaurant which allows you too take in the views. The menu will have something for everyone, even the children are catered for, from not humble sandwiches to sumptuous dining. Everything is made to orderâ . Please don't make the same mistake I did and keep driving passed for all of those years, just GO.

Beautiful surroundings. Excellent service. Modest prices and very interesting food. Everything works!Have a drink or coffee and wonder round the museum and galleries then sit down and spend a pleasurable couple of hours, safe in the knowledge that you won't be disappointed!

Have been to the Rose and Bowl too many times to count.I have been to other restaurants but always keep going back because in my opinion it is the best eating place around.The state are lovely and keep looking after you. I have also had mum and dadâs birthday parties there and both parents funeral wakes. The staff all looked after us very well I would recommend anytime to anyone wanting a good meal outThank you for our fab 5 star review.I will pass your lovely comments back to our team.We love to hear the feedback from our customers , so it's nice to know we are still getting things right. We went to this lovely resteraunt on a whim the other day and found it changed from pub grub into a real gem. The food was superb and the atmosphere charming. I had a steak which was melt in the mouth and my partner had the fish and chips with a pea puree he enjoyed every mouthful. The sweets were equally marvellous. The food here is fantastic with plenty of choice, so much so that we keep returning to try different things. Service is friendly and presentation of food is very modern and aesthetically pleasing. The fact that this cafe is nearly always full just shows how great it is. The only downside is that itâs quite small so the tables are quite close to each other, however this has never been a problem for us. Oh and the freshly made cakes and desserts are wonderful!

I have visited the tea rooms on a number of occasions and as my mum was visiting for the weekend I booked afternoon tea using a Groupon voucher. We arrived early which didnât appear to be a problem and we were promptly seated. We had our Prosecco and then our tea and food arrived. Although at first sight it didnât look enormous we were stuffed by the end of it so it was just right. Thank you.

We have as a family been visiting Corner Cafe for many years, I can honestly say it is one of the best value cafes around, wether you go for breakfast, lunch, fresh soup, or homemade cakes you won't be disappointed. Jane and her wicked sense of humour add to the ambience and the price makes it affordable to all, and it's fully family friendly.

My friend took me here for a spot of Afternoon Tea. The place is cozy and the owners are very friendly. They have the picnic tables for the Afternoon Tea which was all presented very nicely, however, some of the food was not fresh and a bit stale.
