Caesars the coffee lounge cafe We have over the past 17 years worked hard to create a coffee shop with a difference. As you walk through the front door you will see a selection of our freshly prepared foods, which highlight the superb quality and range th
Had breakfast here this morning . Wasn't very impressed at all toast was nice . Bean cheap n nasty eggs were awful . A lack of care in cooking them was evident . Lattes overpriced and cookie was hard . Better food at mckenzies down the street . Also prices are always different although we order same food .Hi Michael, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I find it strange that you are happy to post your opinion on an open forum like this, yet you were not prepared to discuss your concerns when you were actually in the premises. At Caesars our aim is for 100% customer satisfaction, but sadly we are human and sometimes we may not reach the heights we set ourselves. If we get something wrong, we will put it right, absolutely no problem! But you have to talk, converse, share your problem with us, we don't bite, we will simply correct whatever is wrong so that you leave satisfied. As it is now you have left us a poor review, we in turn are not happy we have had a disgruntled customer and so nobody wins from this situation. We serve well over 100 breakfasts each week, we know the products we serve are top quality, so we know your issues are all very very simply rectified. But you have to talk to us, because otherwise we can't do anything.Regards,Wayne

Visited today for Sunday dinner with family and it was absolutely delicious. Have had about 6 dinners here this year and they are always beautiful. This is the closest to a home cooked dinner I have ever had. They always have 5/6 choices for Desserts and they are lovely too. Thanks to all involved for the smooth running of lunches as no sooner your meat arrives, veg is there and extra gravy follows seconds later, you donât need to ask for anything.

Lovely setting but I always find it s not dark inside and you seem to struggle to see what you have on your plate. Freshly prepared and piping hot food, with a choice of at least 3 meats to choose from. Usual veg and roast and boiled potatoes with lashing of gravy. Usually choose the trifle for dessert if I have room but all in all fab meal always

We are open from 12:00 every day. We have a free live singer every Wednesday and Friday evening along with a Kareoke every Saturday.
First time here for a meal on a Friday night. Had a lovely meal with home made chips. Wife was delighted with her cheese and potato pie. Gammon was lovely. Busy pub with a lovely ambience. Great service and reasonable prices. Take note that it is cash only which is unusual nowadays. Will definitely be back.

Our traditional country inn offers cask ales, ciders and quality food & drinks for all. Our bar is friendly, with a mix of locals and visitors and has the warm olde-world feel that you would expect from an Inn dating back to the 16th century. Our kitchen
We have visited several times before and went again for my Birthday. Have never been disappointed with the service or the meals/drinks. The portions are generous and always hot. Staff are very friendly and its a lovely traditional little pub.

Valentine's treat from my partner, a meal at The Three Horseshoes in Pentwynmawr. I was very impressed by the welcome we were given. Even more impressed with the meals on offer, a great menu. The oldy worldy feel of the place was wonderful and the back ground music pitched just right The service also second to none, the food could not be faulted. My partner and I both had great, well cooked and well presented meals and the cost was very reasonable. We will definitely be frequenting this venue again

We arrived 15 mins before our booking time, meals had to be pre booked because they said we were a large group. We ordered drinks and we were told that the cocktails would be brought up to our table. Our starters were served very quickly but our cocktails didnât arrive until we had all started our first course. They came and removed starter dishes while I was still eating and then brought in the main course even though I hadnât finished. We were rushed and the whole meal was a very poor experience. Never again!Hello,We are now under new ownership. Although I do apologize for the experience you received back in August under previous ownership. We would really appreciate you giving us another shot under new ownership & hopefully you'll have a much better experience this time around. If you could get in touch we'd love to get you booked in. Kind RegardsBistro 8

The Islwyn Inn is a modern, friendly restaurant and lounge. We are a family run business with a Welsh theme, and we are proud to source our food from local Welsh suppliers whenever possible, which is then freshly prepared on the premises.
Visited this evening with my cousin and her husband who were on holiday in the area, after reading previous reviews regarding the service I was a bit concerned- no need.Food and service was excellent, we did wait a while between courses but it was well worth the wait, anyway we were all used to eating in France where nothing is rushed. Thanks Islwyn Inn for a lovely meal , especially "oggie, oggie, oggie".
