We had a great time with Chris and Sue who are so friendly and accommodating too. I loved the background jazz music and the art hanging on the walls. My vegetarian breakfast was delicious. Also a big thank you to Kelly always smiling and happy to chat with you and just be. Thanks Graham. It was so lovely to meet and chat with you all. Hope to see you again when you come to the area. Stopped here for lunch and had the misty tasty rarebit English muffins followed by warm Dorset apple cake. The coffee was nice and we loved the decor, it’s really light, bright and fun. They only lost a star due to getting our order wrong and obvious lack of confidence from the two girls serving, but they’re friendly and smiley so sure they will be up to 5 stars in no time!Thank you for your review, I'm glad that you enjoyed your tasty rarebit.

The chalkboard outside says Muddy Paws and Muddy Boots Welcome. There is a menu board outside with two sets of prices, obviously Small and Large dining prices. Inside above the bar is a host of Specials. The welcome was warm and friendly. Two mains at full price from the Specials and two halves of lager was £26, which I considered that a very good lunch considering that the plates were full. It is definitely a 'locals' pub, who, for a visitor were very helpful and ready to engage in conversation. The kitchen closes at 2pm, but a flurry of customers turned up and the kitchen stayed open. In this day and age, that is what I call Service.Thank you so much for your lovely review,we are glad you enjoyed our friendly local pub, hope to see you again soon.kind regards Gail
